Where did you see the mother?
I was going to say sometimes when clones are too wet they wont really put off roots they just cannibalize themselves till they root up.
Hence the deficient looks
But yes since it was too wet they got some mildew/rot cut the affected area
Give a mist with h2o2 and water to kill the rot
Then get them a lil dry time

Didnt say you where guessingIt's normal for clones to yellow a bit right as they set roots regardless of how wet they are or humidity levels but the dead leaf tips and necrotic spots are a pretty clear sign. Unless there's an issue with ph it's most likely that the mother was borderline deficient. I've seen this a few times and I'm not exactly hazarding a guess.
