It's normal for clones to yellow a bit right as they set roots regardless of how wet they are or humidity levels but the dead leaf tips and necrotic spots are a pretty clear sign. Unless there's an issue with ph it's most likely that the mother was borderline deficient. I've seen this a few times and I'm not exactly hazarding a guess.
1. Didnt say you where guessing
2. I just wanted to know where you saw the mothers cause i thought i missed something. And i dont care for assumptions lol
3. I stand by what i said though because i just saw damn near the same thing happen with my rockwool clones ie i had them too wet.
I know how to grow just my first time trying wool
4. yes clones yellow "some" cause my aero clones will be perfect except the tiny TEENY tip of the leaf turns yellow when roots strike. In my experience anyway.
Ive even taken plants to the end with cotyledons in tact like big green thumbs
Been using aero cloners for i think over 10 years now and i decided to try rockwool for an experiment.
Definitely not my best first shot lmao. But 100% out of 22 clones but they looked like his except mine didnt get any rot caause i pulled the dome after 4days.
But i had the cubes too wet which caused the plants not to root. But instead cannibalize their own nutes till it dried out some.
Just my opinion anyway peace
