i just had a bowl of greek yogurt with chopped strawberries and granola for breaky.

fishing for me is about the social or anti-socialness of the game. catching a fish is just a bonus. i've got big game fishing on my bucket list. i want to be strapped in hauling out badass marlin.

looks good but do you always use two plate? my dishes would be toomuch
I'm bad about this too, I put my salad dish in the freezer to chill it and serve it before main course..... not always but most of the time. I do dishes (pre-wash/dishwasher) so the wife never complains and I don't mind. :)

like the fruit spice n rice man, is it chinese 5 spice incidentally? I'm thinking i'll try something like that next week. thinking apple or pear and maybe berries, not much is good in the season right now though.

No five spice, just the perfect balance of sweet, spicy, sour, salty, and umami. I like fresh produce n spice. I like berries for breakfast though ;) :fire:

cool. had to wiki umami  i know little about japanese cuisine, the more i get to know the more i'm liking the sound of it. we have 2 teppanyaki places in my city. both are excellent but pricey. they do allsorts of tricks like playing pool with the shrimp casing into a waste hole on the hotplate.

they jut crack the base of an egg onto the hotplate and you have to try and flip it into the chefs hat on your hat. great fun. last time I went to one, the chef flicked a shrimp across the room to this huge fat guy who was beasting a bowl into his plate with chopsticks, he briefly looked up opened his moth caught it swallowed and like nothing happened carried on shovelling with the chopsticks. the place went nuts.
