what do you extract artists think about this?

using some ultrasonic transducers on a 5 gallon stainless stock pot to produce some nice quality bubble hash?

I don't do sieved hash really, but I've thought about it.. try it out man

It's still just an idea right now. After a little more planning (and sourcing some materials) it should come together pretty well. I will definetly keep you guys informed.

Make sure you have a high enough wattage transducer. I tried a 60W ultrasonic transducer on the Grinning Reaper and it was wildly under powered.

I was planning on using 6 transducers wired in parrallel, with a 300 watt controller built out of arduino boards.

I would love to test your high tech against an old traditional technique. Let me know when you are all set up so that we could manage a session.

sounds good Cannoli. im scrapping the arduino board controller. seems like one could be repurposed on ebay for pretty cheap.

I can imagine a sonic frequency doing a good job agitating some product, however I'm not convinced that ultrasonic frequencies are the ideal range.
