How do you know you're not just tasting what you expect to taste, a.k.a. confirmation bias?
lolnoo i meant watering with boiling water sounds mean lol
Some take longer to fade than othersDidnt work for me . Maybe my kettle didnt make the water hot enough but after 3 days my plants leaves were still healthy not really fading away as I excpected maybe ill try again next time
Boiling, as in from stove to potRiddle i know you say use boiling water, but if the water is previously boiled and cooled would it still have the same effect, or is it the combo of heat that kills the roots along with the lack of oxygen they will receive from drowning? i have been drowning for a couple years, like the results, not to keen on the duration of time though... and the smell is putrid (i use molasses & honey)
the depending on is strain related different strains take different times to fade, some strains take 3 days, seems most take 4 or 5 and few take 7 after you do it several times you'll get a better idea of what they look like when done and you'll just knowI am ready to harvest in about 10 days. I want to try the boiling technique. @RM3, you say to leave it in the tent, lights on, for 3-5 days, depending. "Depending" on what?
Also, I will have other plants in the tent at this time. Will this negatively affect them? Should I let the boiled plants sit outside of tent a couple hours to cool down?
I should set the pots in boiling water, flush with boiling water, or just water normally with boiled water?
Thanks alot, peace
So use boiling water a few days before pulling or what?I have heard ice water makes them think the cold is here and does the same. ??Any science on this?I know exactly what I posted, as I said been doin this for years, and I know a lot of other growers that do it as well. I can tell you this much, once you do it , you'll never look back
Did it help at all and leave it in boiling pot or water with?i did it a few times and liked the results. I stopped doing it though thinking that boiling water will lower the life of my air-pots. Boiling water degrades many plastics.
