First time starting a thread so bear with me.

Been in the scene for 15 years and just finally crawling out of the basement.

So, as the title states, Water-cooled cobs.... Lets talk about it. Seen some great info out there and want to help contribute to this movement. I've been working on a new water-cooled fixture and like most could use a little help. I DON'T TAKE KINDLY TO NAME CALLING, ARGUING, OR RACIST COMMENTs... Everything else is fair game. ; )

Where do we start? Of course, build porn... So here is prototype number 1

"

Ok so that is prototype 1.... Learned some things from that one.

1. Watercooling kicks ass!....Ambient air temp outside the ten was the only limiting factor.
2. 6 cobs created an uneven canopy
3. Dewpoint... Better learn about relative humidity ( and No, thats not the sweat dripping of your sister)
4. Led tech moves rapidly
5.As long as chilled water is near, I'll never pay for cooling again in a sealed room.
6. That I need a custom extrusion because these motherfuckers were heavy! ( 20kls-50lbs) each

Rockin. I'm not liquid cooling so don't know how it would work for you but I've ran a few 3070 epoxied (cree calls it phase change tim) for several months now. Seriously beautiful work.

Yes that was a dehumidifier in there. I used to

id like to see some par readings at different water temps. is that possible?
Every time I hear someone talking/posting about building a watercooled light, I roll my eyes.

But holy fuck that is awesome! Great work. Is that a dehumidifier hanging in the middle!?

Yes that was a dehumidifier in there. I was growing in a 3x3 square geo pot and the humidity got crazy..
