GD the chop is now complete. I smoked a few hits of scissor hash when it was all done. holy smoke! Screwed me up pretty good. But still got shit done afterwards. That was 4 hrs ago and i still feel it. Pretty impressed with the end result. For only my 2nd DWC attempt i'm not complaining.. And compared to my first DWC adventure I am pretty sure i've come close to doubling my weight. A couple weeks and I'll know for sure. Although i do have room for improvement, next time i'll trim off all the bottom tiny shit. In a scrog it gets hardly any light and it was fluffy. the very bottom branches that extended beyond the scrog that got better light, were much better than buds halfway up the plant but didn't get any light. The top nugs exceed my expectations in denseness.

So here she was before she got the axe.

I think Jim from American pie would love that hole in the root ball.. Move over warm apple pie. lmao.. talk about root porn.. Jim would take it to a whole new level.

Funny is that hole in the root ball is where the tube was for the water lever indicator.

So what do I got 4,5,6 oz's.. i'll know in a couple weeks

I'm not sure what you are seeing eastcoast, but a little info. I am using a 4 sided pvc frame wrapped in orca grow film. The top is open and my light is on hangers that move up and down. I don't have a cool hood so it does stay warmer in the middle but not too bad. I am able to keep the canopy around 73-75 degrees F with fans. I have an 8" opening all the way around the frame at the bottom for ventilation with a fan running. I have another fan blowing into the middle and an oscillating fan moving air at the canopy top. These stretched so differently, anywhere from a total height of 48" to 25" that the taller ones did get a little close to the light and burned a bit in the middle. I tied the colas back and away from the bulb a little and it has improved. I will post some photos for everyone to check out when the lights go out for the final time on Friday. The biggest buds are getting weighty and I have done a little tying up for support. Things are coming along nicely.

A&C, sounds great and I hope that I do as well. I noticed that my bottom buds are are small and fluffy too. Whatever is getting a lot of light looks great though for sure. The pictures aren't working, says invalid attachment.

Just thought I'd drop some day 20 Cindy99 pics for you guys. The pheno I have seems to like the single cola method just fine. She is frosting up already and looks like she is gonna be one big cola I think.

The rest of the pics and the rest of the garden will be in my thread.

Awesome Kite those girls are really growing quickly for you. Is that lime on top of the soil? Did you notice them not needing very much water when they were real young. I think I slowed mine with over watering it perhaps. Well the whole it splitting into to didn't help either.

large grade perilite...40%...pretty much cant over water but in large enough containers is a good moisture keeper as well...I have a very different approach to watering/feeding

Kite, I am humbled. I can't believe the growth and node spacing that you have at day 21. Write it down and find a publisher. :hump:

OK, lights are out and I am waiting to chop. Because of my light cycle, they will have been in darkness for 80 hours or so when I get started. I took a couple of photos as soon as the light went out to show you. You can see some heat burn that happened a while back. Also, maybe a little nute burn trying to keep them green the last week or so. I am pretty happy with how things turned out considering it's my first time getting to this point. I have learned a great deal for the future, and can't thank those who helped me with advise along the way enough. More later.

YA looks real good man, you did a great job keeping them green too!

Thanks TC, your advise and comments have been invaluable too. I will continue to follow your great thread to expand my knowledge; hopefully, not my waistline with all of that food talk going on over there. :-)

eastcoastmo

Thanks for stopping in during your travels Bilbo. This has been a very rewarding experience and I am fortunate that Kite, TC and others subbed and were willing to pass on their vast knowledge of botany and what makes cannabis tick. I accept the award, but it was a team effort. Without their help, the results probably wouldn't have been as good. Keep coming back to check on Kite's progress on his 4 Cindy's. I think that we are all in for a "spanking".
