Using insulated foam board for walls?

I’m redoing my partial basement are and I’m replacing the insulation foam between the studs and was thinking about using insulation foam board as the walls. Has anybody seen/ done this before?

If I did do this, how hard/ difficult do you think it would be to hang a 16” hurricane oscillating fans on the “wall”/ insulation board?

I don't think that would be a good idea if you were going to be hanging anything on it. You'll probably be happier down the road if you just use drywall which doesn't coast any more.

i wouldnt trust foam board as a wall. at least put some osb behind it or something
