Urgent Problem!!!

ok so i left my plants for 5 days while i was on spring break i got back today everything fine after watering i noticed that there was like lil bugs flying arond the edges and it looked like they were coming out of the soil and jumping i sprayed some ant killer and they seemed to die but more came back 20 min later and i dont want to keep spraying poison on the plants does anyone know what i should do or what they are??? +REP!!

You can mix 1 oz of 3% H2O2 to 1 gallon of water and also add 1 teaspoon of Ivory liquid dish soap and mist your plant with it

You need to identify the pest and you may need to get some Neem Oil

but the household mist will stop your urgency

the flies are harmless just get some fly tape but there larva eat roots kill them with MIQUETOE killer for ponds added to your water. and also if you let your soil dry out it kills most of them. bugs suck good luck dude:bigjoint:

any hard wear store lowes , home depot, walmart its along package with round pellets on it pet store where ever pond stuff is sold

I would suggest the neem oil. A little goes a long ways and it also has a fungul control as well.
I use it mainly in my veg room but have on ocassion had to retreat the soil in the flower room.
It is organic and pleasant to work.

put a thin layer of sand on your soil. The sand cuts up the gnats and kills them. When the babies hatch and come out they will get iced trying to get through the soil, soon there will be no babies in the soil and you'll be good. Be careful about using fly paper, some of the products have toxins; avoid anything w/ toxins. The yellow sticky ones are good.
