aggainst1, What a nice comment, thanks!
I've been watching this for a while. love the pictures. Brings back lot's of great memories. I was stationed USCG Loran Station Tok, AK.
Got a buddy who just moved to AK.
Those pictures of the woods, lake, wet bear print, wolf print are all cool and yea, makes you want to move up there.
Now show everyone what -10 looks like LOL!!!
We actually got to -60 in Tok. But we also hit 90 in the summer. For about a minute.

Winter photos eh?

Well I dont see why not. I surely can do that. Ill see what I can do. Ill take a little ride on the snowmobile (sno-go in AK) and see what I can find. If today does not pan out to be photo friendly, then give me a week and Ill share something better. What else could I share? Anything anyone has read that I didnt follow up on but you would like addressed, by all means please speak up! I know there are several things I was going to share that I didnt. Some things were done but not shared due to what I figured was lack of interest.

The Easiest Grow by far is the CAROLINA.
She takes Hell, and flourishes with the slightest of help.

Out of probably 2-3 hundred strains I have grown out. Never have I seen a strain that could grow in 6 inches of pine needles without being harmed by the acidity. Carolina does. I know the plants ability to harvest very heavy yields is a key factor in its appeal, however I have not yet tested this plants full ability as I will next year. The plant is being grown out in various locations. The project is kept quiet for now however I will publish the results once the data is in.
There are 10 plants of Carolina in 6 different gardens. We are looking for the ultra mother that I know of. She is more squat than the rest, produces a unique almost offensive odor during veg and finishes smelling like honey suckle, melon, sweet grass. The high, is creeping and never paranoid. Up buzz with lots of happy creative thought. Extremely long lasting. A buzz thats still with you in the morning after a bed time toke. Great for spasm. Great for lack of appetite.
Great all around boredom killer as you find yourself amused by the simplest of things. I look forward to doing a journal of it with you in the near future. Stay tuned!

Of what you have seen growing here, AUH2 was the most potent. When Arjan says "Unique" flavor he MEANS it! The strain is not for the novice grower by any means, but a true super high. The early part of the harvest window gives you a buzz out of this world (Chocolate like addictive). Within Seconds! And the ripe prime buds are simply divine power!

Nice work bro. I am just tuning in but it seems like you have it going on. Thanks for the follow through. I am guessing that the Carolina came from down towards the coast? I spent quite a few years in the Mountains of Carolina and it is to cold for seeds to over winter. It sounds like your retrieval mission has paid off in a major way. I miss AK and I was only there for a month or so. Yeah, summer. It was like Montana on steroids. Does the Carolina prefer a high ph?

Thanks for the look!
sorry this is going to be short, I gotta run.

Yeah the Carolina was from down near Charelston. I think the thick pine needle bed on the forest floor kept the seeds through winter. What I cant explain is why YESSSS it loves high ph. Well watermans dream!

Hope to see ya stick around!
