Probably a good ol' case of placebo effect...I wanted to notice an immediate change, and so I did.I doubt if the feeding had any impact. I added a lot of blood meal to my soil mix once and did get a whiff of ammonia coming off the pot. The N has to be turned into an ammoniated form before nitrate. Same with the urea in your 20-20-20.
I'll read this in my head as I file and submit my 2nd quarter payments next week. Can't resist going a bit off topic. This poem from Charlie Reese, former columnist of the Orlando Sentinel who nailed congress and the President.
Tax his land,
Tax his bed,
Tax the table,
At which he's fed.
Tax his tractor,
Tax his mule,
Teach him taxes
Are the rule.
Tax his work,
Tax his pay,
He works for
peanuts anyway!
Tax his cow,
Tax his goat,
Tax his pants,
Tax his coat.

......Temperature and the importance of day/night differential - In general, a 85/70F (32/16C) day/night temp is best for most hybrids for maximum carbo production. What's really important is a good drop in temperature at night, of at least 15F/4C. If night temps are too high, the plant will use up the carbos manufactured during the day to the process of respiration as opposed to plant cell division/elongation (tissue production).
Bloom foods are not your friend.`UB. First I would like to thank you for some nice inputs. I too was one that was led down the dark path of nutrients. I have pulled out some nice yields but never really happy. I have read a lot about the Dyna-gro and going to go with that line for my next run. I am a full soil person and have the Foliage, protekt and the mag pro ready to roll. Can you recommend a base line mix of these nutrient? I was just thinking about staying with the maintenance amounts. Also should I add the Bloom into this mix or just stay with these three. Your help is appreciated. Thanks
Thanks Man! The Budweiser is pretty good too, no headaches or the wretched swamp gas that the original Bud gives me ...heh heh heh, they must have left out their magical secret ingredient "Formaldehyde"Nice looking colas. That budweiser looks pretty tasty too! Haven't seen those beers up here in the Northeast.
Here's some of the finished product.....this cost me maybe $20 to grow start to finishCooter Nice looking plants and bud. Good to see someone else using the citrus feed. I have this waiting to be used from start to finish next cycle to see how is does. Been using classic and blossom as well with great results.
UB update on that ballast from woot. When researching it it states is give off no rfi so i bought it. Now I set it up and took the radio outside and was surprised when I heard static on all the radio stations. Some areas are worse then others so now I gotta figure out if its worth it to try and block it somehow or try and return it. Bummed me out since the reviews looked good on it. Was the ipower ballast and got the 1000 watt. Thanks for the link above as well. Great article to go in the bookmarks.
Kite thanks for the recommendation on the radiant. Got it set up and very happy with it. Great light distribution and great price. Am going to pick up other one here soon. On sale for 100 on that site now.
Nice job. Great beer too! Bud did a good job on that recipe. No Bloom Foods here
Soil was amended with Fox Farm Marine Cuisine granular fertilizer 10-7-7 and any deficiency was adjusted with Peter's Citrus Feed 20-10-20.

Radio? I thought transistor radios went out years ago. Yeah, if there's something misleading then get with Woot. They are a solid company.UB update on that ballast from woot. I dig the black crown too....it seems to always be on sale, beer in Hawaii can get a little pricey and I'm a cheap bastard, i guess the sun shines on a dogs balls every now and thenNice job. Great beer too! Bud did a good job on that recipe.
This is grazy! Must be wrong.Temperature and the importance of day/night differential - In general, (32/16C) day/night temp is best...
Explain what's crazy. I'm gonna warn you, you argue with me and the U. of N.C., College of Ag and Life Sciences, who present solid botanical principles and you WILL get a spanking like I give to my troll boy all the time. He likes it, keeps coming back for more. Now, will you? This is grazy! Must be wrong.
