it is not my opinion that you cited an educational institution which fully endorses the overwhelming scientific consensus that global warming is real and manmade, that is a fact.

here's how it works: higher CO2 levels cause a greenhouse effect which leads to warming. the warming then causes melting of things which have sequestered CO2 in them, causing even more CO2 and more warming. this is third grader science, dummy.
CO2 stayed between 280-320 PPM for 800,000+ years. in just 100 years, human activities have caused CO2 to skyrocket above 400 PPM, and along with that temps on earth have risen by about 2 degrees in just 100 years. that normally takes about 5,000 years or so.
so if humans didn;t cause all that, what did?

Nope, a vacuum is a thermal insulator. By adding more atmospheric CO2 we add more to absorb IR radiation from the sun, but because the Earth can't sufficiently cool itself by radiation (or by convection at all) the heat sticks around.
Its basic physics.
