TRUMP CONVICTED

Anybody who thinks Trump can't be convicted is not dealing with reality correctly, just like those who think he can't go to a regular prison, with some special provisions made, they lock up child molesters every day and keep them alive. He is also not too big to jail pending trial and if he is disqualified from the primaries by the end of this year, anything to do with the election will be stripped away from him before his trials begin. If the democrats win a useful majority, they will remove secret service protection from convicted felons doing time in federal facilities, other federal employees can manage him then.

Donald can be convicted, and he will go to a prison of some kind, I'm sure the BOP has people working on it now for when they get handed the hot potato. No house arrest, it will be a cage and a jumpsuit IMO, as much as possible he will be kept like any other maximum-security prisoner.
Why maximum security?
He has a large armed terrorist following of fanatics and everybody involved in his conviction will get hundreds of death threats including the judges and jurors. No club fed for Donald, his fans are too dangerous for that and would try to attack the facility to bust him out, so maximum security. I think Trump will qualify with enough time for the supermax in Colorado, let them try and bust him out of there.

Trump now facing real prison threat

Donald Trump says he’s not worried about the possibility of going to prison. But former federal prosecutors say that threat is very, very real. MSNBC’s Brian Tyler Cohen breaks down why Trump has plenty of reason to worry.

Trump: Funding deadline ‘last chance’ to defund ‘political prosecutions against me’
Former President Trump on Wednesday called on Republicans in Congress to use the looming government-funding deadline as an opportunity to withhold funds from the Justice Department (DOJ), which has indicted Trump in two separate cases.
Trump said the deadline marks “the last chance to defund these political prosecutions against me and other Patriots.”

“A very important deadline is approaching at the end of the month,” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post. “Republicans in Congress can and must defund all aspects of Crooked Joe Biden’s weaponized Government that refuses to close the Border, and treats half the Country as Enemies of the State.”
Trump, the runaway front-runner in the 2024 GOP presidential primary, has been indicted in four separate criminal cases. Two of the cases stem from DOJ special counsel Jack Smith, related to the former president’s handling of classified documents after leaving the White House, and his alleged effort to overturn the 2020 election after losing to President Biden.

Trump’s warning sign to Republicans comes as they struggle to find consensus, even within their own conference, on how to move forward with a plan to avert a government shutdown before the fiscal year ends Sept. 30.

Some members of the Republican conference have outlined their own demands in exchange for their support of funding bills or a continuing resolution.

Yet, any partisan bill that does manage to get through the House is unlikely to win the support needed from the Senate, which is controlled by Democrats and has already made progress on advancing bipartisan appropriations bills.

“They failed on the debt limit, but they must not fail now. Use the power of the purse and defend the Country!” Trump said in his post.

Judge Peppers Lawyers in Prelude to Trump's N.Y. Business Fraud Trial
A New York judge peppered Donald Trump's lawyers with questions Friday as they tried to persuade the court to throw out a civil lawsuit brought by New York’s attorney general accusing the former president and his company of deceiving banks, insurers and others by exaggerating his wealth.
At times, Judge Arthur Engoron argued with Trump attorney Christopher Kise. In one case the judge ended a back-and-forth by simply saying, “Disagree.”

Later, the judge pounded his fist on the top of his bench in disagreement with Kise’s interpretation of one law, opining the intent of that law is, “You cannot make false statements.”

The hearing served as prelude to a trial that could begin as soon as Oct. 2.

A lawyer for New York Attorney General Letitia James also tried to persuade Engoron to hand down a summary judgment on the lawsuit's most significant claim — that Trump committed fraud by inflating property values and exaggerating his net worth by as much as $3.6 billion on annual financial statements used by him and his company to secure financing.

The judge also questioned the state's lawyer, Assistant New York Attorney General Andrew Amer, but his tone was less combative.
At one point, Engoron reminded those in the packed courtroom that he was trying to be fair to both sides, suggesting that the tenor of his questioning shouldn't be seen as an indication of how he will ultimately rule.

The judge indicated he would rule no later than Tuesday on the requests from the two sides.
James, a Democrat, sued Trump and the Trump Organization a year ago, accusing him of inflating the value of assets like skyscrapers, golf courses and his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.

But Trump's attorney, Kise, hailed Trump's “investment genius” during the Friday hearing at a court in Manhattan.

“This is why billionaires are billionaires,” Kise said.

He said the property valuations the former president used in financial documents were not meant to be formal appraisals, but Trump's predictions of what the properties could be worth in the future.

Among the allegations made by James were that Trump claimed his Trump Tower apartment in Manhattan — a three-story penthouse replete with gold-plated fixtures — was nearly three times its actual size and valued the property at $327 million. No apartment in New York City has ever sold for close to that amount, James said.

Trump valued Mar-a-Lago as high as $739 million — more than 10 times a more reasonable estimate of its worth. Trump’s figure for the private club and residence was based on the idea that the property could be developed for residential use, but deed terms prohibit that, James said.
“Defendants have clearly stepped through the looking glass,” said Amer, the lawyer representing the attorney general. He said there was “a complete disconnect” between the real-world market value of Trump’s properties and “the grossly inflated” valuation asserted by former president in his financial paperwork.

Trump has denied wrongdoing, arguing in sworn testimony that it didn’t matter what he put on his financial statements because they have a disclaimer that says they shouldn’t be trusted.

James’ lawsuit is one of several legal headaches for Trump as he campaigns for a return to the White House in 2024. He has been indicted four times — accused in Georgia and Washington, D.C., of plotting to overturn his 2020 election loss, in Florida of hoarding classified documents, and in Manhattan of falsifying business records related to hush money paid on his behalf.

James’ lawsuit is a civil, not criminal matter, so it does not carry the potential of prison time. She has asked the court to ban Trump and his three eldest children from ever again running a company based in New York. She also wants $250 million in penalties, and a five-year ban on Trump and the Trump Organization engaging in commercial real estate acquisitions.

Judge Mcafee just ordered the further protection of the Special Purpose Grand Jury in the Georgia Election interference case, by denying the defenses’ motion to get their hands on the jurors’ private notebooks and materials they used in deliberation. Michael Popok of Legal AF explains how Defendants like Trump are trying to argue prosecutor misconduct to dismiss the indictments.

Trump set up the withdrawal from Afghanistan and did it in such a way as to screw Biden, the same reason they refused to give national security briefings to the transition team. Joe wisely took the hit and got America and its European allies out of the place, just in time to face off against Vlad over Ukraine, with combat experienced NATO troops training Ukrainians. The last place America's European partners would want to be is there with Vlad on the march in Europe. Trump tried to screw Biden, but Biden wanted out of Afghanistan too, instead he inadvertently screwed his buddy Putin and Europe was much better prepared to deal with the situation in Ukraine and not tied down in Afghanistan, who is now at war with Iran!
