Hmmm. Your thoughts?

those "rebels" happened to be the thuggish serbian army that were using displacement, mass murder, genocide and ethnic cleansing and other various war crimes to achieve their nefarious quest for dominance and land grabbing ambitions....

War crimes are a matter of perspective.

Sort of like the genocide that Harry Truman engaged in when he dropped nuclear bombs on Japan, knowing it would incinerate thousands of civilian women and children, hospitals, schools and residences ?

So when Bill Clinton bombed those people, did the magical constitution authorize it ? If it did, does legal murder somehow become okay?

I believe in most of the concepts embodied in the bill of rights, Poopy Pants. Not because they are embodied in the bill of rights, but because they make sense anyway, independent of any government.

The Constitution itself, a piece of paper, exists, so I "believe" in it, in that sense. I don't believe it is magical and empowers people or that it can give rights to people they wouldn't or shouldn't already have / not have, without it. If that were the case, you could scribble "Uncle Buck is the ruler of the universe" on a piece of paper and make the same claim as the slave masters who came up with the Constitution and now somehow you were to be obeyed for evermore.

My point was, that Truman and Clinton et al, claimed to be bound the by constitution, which is obviously inaccurate. I'm not surprised that escaped your dull mind though.

No matter how many ways Rob Roy tries to claim otherwise, a person who is less than the age of consent cannot give consent to having sex with him.
