TRUMP CONVICTED

I can't see Georgia being anything other than a catastrophe for Trump even before this year is out with trials beginning in October and a verdict likely before Christmas. However long before that the trial will be on TV and all of them will be blaming Trump and testifying against him as the conspiracy comes out in court and on TV, Donald will be watching too, if he is tried after most of the others. Having people already convicted in a conspiracy he was a party to makes defense even harder, especially when some of them testify against you for time off but should not be required.

I can understand why Trump is freaking out and must be reaching out to Kevin or anybody he has a hold over and trying to get them to break the constitution and law. Almost all of what he says are lies spouted an effort to incite his fans to violence and action. He isn't too smart, has a shrinking circle of trust and support and is increasingly desperate and panicked. I suspect he fears the TV trial in Georgia the most, his fans will be watching him get humiliated and powerless as republicans rat him out and a black woman shits on him for weeks on TV and he has to sit there and STFU. If he delays his trial too long in Georgia Jack will have him in a pair of orange coveralls on national TV, same if he is in jail pretrial for fucking up his terms of release. 2023 promises to be a very bad year for Donald with 2024 even worse.

Think he can do it? She will be saying nasty things about him, very nasty things, she is a nasty woman!

Hitler had his wunder weapons and imaginary armies at the end too. The next year right up to the election will be filled with the trial of magats trying to steal elections, more than Trump will suffer, many state officials and fake electors will too. With Trump in prison over J6 and convictions over it in Georgia and DC and disqualified from the general election by the 14th at least, I doubt the motivation will be there for magats in the states to fuck around with the election too much. The feds will be ready, and Trump won't be running, he will be in the crowbar hotel, so no cover at all if they fuck around and lose. From what I've seen there is no way Trump will be allowed on the 24 ballot even if he won the GOP nomination.

Even though Trump won't be on the 24 ballot he will have coat tails and anybody holding them will go over the edge into the abyss with him, on fire all the way to the bottom screaming.

Other than the size of his mushroom this has to hurt more than anything.
Trump pushes back on allegations he inflated net worth, claims he was defamed
Former President Trump denied allegations from the New York attorney general that he significantly inflated his net worth, saying he was “defamed” by the state and claiming election interference.

New York Attorney General Letitia James (D) accused Trump of inflating his worth by $2.2 billion in court documents Wednesday. The claim is part of the state’s business fraud suit against Trump, the Trump Organization and two of his children.

In a Truth Social post Thursday, Trump said he was “targeted” and given “no constitutional rights” in the investigation.
“THE THING I HAVE IS A GREAT CASE BASED ON PHENOMENAL NUMBERS THAT SHOW A NET WORTH BILLIONS OF DOLLARS MORE THAN SHE VICIOUSLY & FALSELY CLAIMED, VERY LITTLE DEBT, BIG CASH, A POWERFUL DISCLAIMER CLAUSE, PAID OFF LOANS, NO DEFAULTS, “HAPPY” BANKS, GREAT ASSETS,” Trump said.

“I WAS DEFAMED BY NYS – ELECTION INTERFERENCE!”

The lawsuit seeks a $250 million fine and to bar Trump and his children from running businesses in New York in the future.
Specifically, James said Trump’s company changed the value of its assets in order to pay a lower tax rate and receive better insurance rates.
The civil suit is scheduled to go to trial Oct. 8.

Good, the more money he has, the more people will get in lawsuit settlements while he is in prison, even if he was worth tens of billions the lawsuits would clean out of every dime eventually.

I wouldn't rule Mark out as a cooperator, but perjury makes his testimony less credible. It all depends on the congressional heads he can deliver with receipts, because perjury would make his testimony against them much less valuable and perhaps even worthless. Mark might have just bought himself a life in prison until he dies. He is nearly worthless to Jack, Mark just threw away most of his cards for a deal and many republicans in congress are probably breathing easier, with him out of the way as a potential witness. Mark's lawyer must be pulling his fucking hair out, he had the best chance of them all of cutting a sweet deal.

I look at it as bad news, getting the J6 congressional republicans will be harder, even though Jack will know all about it.

Interesting read:

With him on side and two federalist legal scholars, what way do you think the conservatives on the SCOTUS will vote? We already know how the 3 liberals will. Trump will certainly be disqualified from the general election and perhaps the primaries too, because his presence harms the legitimate republican candidates. I would look for rulings on this before the GOP primaries officially begin and it could cut Trump off at the knees and leave the republican establishment with clean hands before the primaries. Trump will be busy in one court or another by then and a lot more evidence about the insurrection will become public.

I joked about it before, but Trump trying to choke his SS agent and grab the wheel in an effort to get to the capitol on J6 is important. He too used physical violence against LEO (the SS agent) in an effort to get to the capitol and lead the insurrection. Physically participating in the events or trying to would be a powerful piece of evidence for the insurrection charge.

the 3 would prolly disqualify him, the conservatives would prolly split, is my best guess, 3 would side with dumb dumb, the other 3 are the ones to watch......if i would guess 5 to 4 ruled to disqualify......like i said that a guess and only one

Hard to see anybody but Thomas disagreeing, if they want to save the republican party and the country a lot of trouble, they will rule him disqualified early from the primaries too. While this is going on they will be setting the standards of evidence and procedure for this, filling in the blanks on the constitution which is their job. The standard of evidence is civil, not criminal and it is a "disability" not a crime. Not to worry, no magat will be able to disqualify Biden or any other normal candidate, but Trump is far from normal, he is special and will be treated that way by the courts on this too, he will be disqualified!

Those conservative justices could be facing a hard time if the democrats win in 24 and might like some republican cover in the senate. If they disqualify Trump before the GOP primaries, they stand a much better chance of having some balance in the house and senate. If they don't disqualify him from the primaries, he could win them which would be a disaster for the GOP if they had to later disqualify him from the general election ballot. It could even set up a constitutional crisis, if they don't disqualify him.

They will rule based on the US constitution and law, but these are also factors since most of them are republicans. It could be Trump is disqualified from the primaries too, but with a 6 3 split and the liberals saying he is not disqualified from the primaries but would be for the general election and the conservatives saying he is disqualified from both. I believe he is disqualified, but whether from the primary process remains to be seen and could be very important, it would let the GOP off the hook with clean hands and the other candidates can run with Trump out of the way. This might not be so good for Joe and the democrats it would give the republicans plenty of time to get behind the new guy, memory hole Donald and generally put lipstick on the pig.

DOJ loses on appeal in trying to block Trump deposition
The D.C. Appeals Court ruled Friday that former President Trump can be deposed in suits against the FBI brought by former agents Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.
The Department of Justice appealed a ruling from a lower court in July, which came to the same conclusion.

Strzok is suing the bureau for wrongful termination and Page is suing for invasion of privacy after the pair were embroiled in a political scandal due to work on the bureau’s investigation into Trump’s ties to Russia in 2018.

Text messages became public in which the pair spoke about how they personally disliked Trump, causing concern that the entire investigation was biased, later resulting in Page resigning and Strzok being fired.

“Only the most extraordinary of circumstances would justify allowing a plaintiff to depose a former high-level official about actions he took in the course of his official duties. This case falls far short of that standard,” DOJ attorneys argued in their appeal.
FBI Director Christopher Wray and former Trump chief of staff John Kelly already testified for the lawsuits, making Trump’s testimony unnecessary, the DOJ argued.

The appeals court ruled that District Judge Amy Berman Jackson properly considered the DOJ’s concerns about a former president being deposed and came to her conclusion justly.

“Having employed particular ‘deference and restraint’ considering the separation-of-powers concerns at issue, the district court ultimately concluded that ‘extraordinary circumstances’ warranted the deposition of the former President,” according to the ruling.

“Under these circumstances, petitioners have not shown that the district court’s conclusion was a clear abuse of discretion warranting mandamus relief,” it continued.

Kelly said in his testimony that Trump “wanted to see Mr. Strzok fired” and considered other retaliation.

“President Trump questioned whether investigations by the Internal Revenue Service or other federal agencies should be undertaken into Mr. Strzok and/or Ms. Page. I do not know of President Trump ordering such an investigation. It appeared, however, that he wanted to see Mr. Strzok and Ms. Page investigated,” Kelly said.

Trump has extensively spoken about Strzok and Page on social media.
The case now returns to Jackson, who previously said that she would allow Trump to be deposed for a short period of time on limited subject matter relevant to the suits.

like i mention it was just a guess....we won't know till the election gets closer and closer on what the states will do or something that will ever happen....we can speculate all we want. Keep in mind this amendment is 200yrs old + or -, and has never been used with the exception of the civil war in the 1800's.....

It was used in NM to keep a magat who trespassed on J6 off the 2022 ballot. It is 150 years old and is just as valid today as then. The 14th and 15th also freed the slaves, gave black men the vote and eventually women the franchise after WW1.
