oh yeah we talked about this haha. thats sweet man, do the higher watt cfls have a bigger "glow" area if you know what i mean? like can be more than 4'' away and still be effective?

nahhhh they all need to be up close and personal... my single 125w was perfect while they were in little pots but now there in a 11ltr pot each the 1 lamp only covers 1 pot in light ... the other two pots are in relative darkness compaired to the one under the reflector....
See what i mean? (picture from day of repotting)

so i'll add another light each side of the reflector ... when they arrive

Update day 14 (seedling)
so here is progress so far its now day 14 from seedling... i'm well impressed with them too... little concerned as the small one is still small but that could have something to do with not getting a fair share of the light (untill more arrive) and it always seemed to be a couple of days behind the other two ... well in appearance, got my DSLR camera back from the outlaws house... so i have included a couple of close ups of the "strange goings on" located right inbetween the new growth at the top of the biggest 2 plants (1 closeup of each)

tell me what you think about the "strange goings on" in the closeups.... and what you think in general ...please folks :-)

all three at day 11 (plant #1 is bottom row on the right)
plant #1 at day 14

i guess they have grown since my day 11 update, i guess i just couldn't see it.... i did notice that as i said before it kinda paused for a day more like two i think .... "hoss" says its best not to transplant Auto's just to crack them straight into there final pots once germ'd, i had read this before i started (in his thread actually) but to be honest i bottled it and got worried if i got the light wrong they might stretch in seeling mode and i'd end up with lanky shit looking plants..... i know for next time.... this error and the current shortage of light might have set me back as much as 5 days worth of good growing.... thats depressing :-(

theyre not flowering yet, i dont think the transplant was a big deal. they just are seeming to grow slow. be patient my friend. she will start speeding up in a few days. once another set of leaves pop out.

They're looking good! Nice colours and a healthy looking spread :) Good going so far, Trout!
I can see why you're wanting more lights in there bro. and yeah I think it's a good idea.

As for your 'problems' I couldn't see what you were talking about sorry... maybe it's the photo's, I noticed that my pictures look different slightly to reality - but then that could have summin to do with this cheese shit I'm smokin LoL

cheese bruv... some times i envy you .. :-) .... bangers and mash AGAIN here :spew:

yep hopefully lights tomorrow ... might be working into the night as the otherhalf needs taking over her folks tomorrow, you know

the bits i was refering to are the tiny ... i dunno "tulip" shaped thingies sticking out of the stem right below the top leaves that are standing upright.... might just be tiny leaves or something?? i dunno i'll be watching em for the next few days though

They're perfectly normal bruv :)

Like hair sort of stuff, can't say really what they are, but I do know they're normal :) So no need to panic!

Upgrade
New lights came today (2 more 125w duel spectrum CFL's) with 2 new hangers, got them from the same place as last time.. (basement lighting) and was a touch disapointed when i got the E40 hangers out the box and they we're completely different to the one i got from them 3 weeks ago, really cheap and nasty looking...

as i said previously i'd hang them at each end of the reflector hanging down, took ages to get them in the cabinet, snapped one of the E40 lamp hangers. i got the first bulb in about 1 turn and all the middle fell out! (told you cheap looking!) so had to make one from the old Hps lead i stripped off the reflector ... there is so much stuff in the cabinet now and its starting to make everything difficult (like trying to find a place for the thermometer so i could get a true ambient temperature with out reading conflicting heat signitures off the lamps)

after finally getting them in the cabinet and moving everything else to suit the new setup i switched them on. less then 2 minutes temperatures reached 90F (32c) and was still rising fast, which is ok to slow cook a cheap cut of meat ... but not what i'm looking for lol... to cut an all ready long story short i had to open all the closed off vent holes in the bulkhead, remove the mushroom (light blocking) cover from over the intake fan... and point the desktop fan inside the cabinet at the lights and switch it to cyclone! ... holding 75-78f (24-26c)

although it took ages to hang the new lights .... i'm not happy with the way they are, i'm wasting about 70% of the light as they are much more effcient hung horizontal... but i can't add another two lamps to my reflector so i have to make a new reflector to house 3 rather large lamps with next to no materials.... suggestions?

oh almost forgot .... they had there first nutes today.. from the airated water butt, 1ltr each (larger pots seem to take it as i dont get run off... is this ok?) 1/2 strength grow and 1/2 strength flower.... half of the min suggested dose of each... bio-bizz say feed grow and bloom nutes together untill the end of flower which suprised me, but i know nothing of feeds so can only go by there advise (bio-bizz™)
