IMG_9009.jpg IMG_9005.jpghere is how the cabinet looks now... getting rather busy in there... and i have no idea how to get those two lamps hung horizontal yet :? ... but as you can see a lot more light, shame most of it's bouncing off the walls! :dunce:
and you can see the homemade E40 hanger/duct-tape sculpture LMFAO

Noice ;) You been a busy lad too! It'll be even better once you get them babies hung sideways - Have you considered a H shape? That's kind of how I've done mine.
Your O'Matics are looking happy as well.

ermmmm Cumbers ..... i had cosidered it ...but unfortunately the power cord of the first one plays havoc with fitting one in bottom end, i've just tryed get them hung and level just for last night..... and i'll try to come up with something today....

welcome GB .... its what you put in that counts, and not the decor of your grobox :-) (and most importantly what comes out at the end hehehehe) glad to have you onboard fella

Sub Edit: " i love them scrog pots your doing GB... wow PUKKA idea!"

did you get the new lights in?
yeah... snapped the inside of one of the light hangers... tryed to fix it with ashesive and solder.... resulted in a bang (lamp survived Thank Jebus) i have put the two new lamps on a pair of rails so i could have them horizontal... the third one is still in the reflector and is 2" higher then the other two.... i was going to have all three inline.... and the reflector hanging above them .... but toying with the idea of the H system that Cumbers mentioned and after the trouble i had mounting two on the rails ... sounds like a plan ... i'll have a think about it, but for now they are in a H shape

IMG_9018.JPG how the lights are at present, would like 3 in a row really ... but it took 2 hours and a full stress to get it to this point lol
IMG_9024.JPG plant #2 (far left) seems bigger then plant #1 now.. but is more compact.
IMG_9028.JPG plant #1 .(centre).... the original big girl.... now 2nd largest i'd say.

what do you think?

Plants looking healthy and happy :)

And your H setup seems to be working too!
I'd leave it as is for the now and work out the reflector business later. They're getting what they need so that's all that matters.

Cereal box and tin foil mate - I tells ya, it's key to my design! lol

yeah i think you could be right ... i have finished spending on this grow, mark my words not a penny more...... so it could be a make do and mend reflector... but i'm on the look out for something suitable and it might end up being card and foil :-)

i know what you mean about seeing stuff all the time until you need it .... then you can't find any for looking

Oh ... in all the fuss and stress of getting the lights hung correctly i forgot to mention i have noticed no ill effect from the first nute feed i gave them yesterday... no discolouration of leaves, they were a little droopy after lights came back on ... but hoping thats nothing to worry about ... but on the whole i think it may have been ok :-)

Supposedly the Molasses promotes growing of microorganisms in the soil which makes your soil more healthy. Kind of like worm food etc. I wonder if anyone has tried puitting worms in their grow pots. I need to search that one....Would make some really excellent fert., you would have to feed them some veg. matter but that's great.... I got compost anyway.....

well the jurys still out on the molasses.... do the pro's outway the con's.... i've asked a trusted grower and the advise i was given was "if you decide to try it then less is more"

worms ...lol (my son is worm mad... have to check his pockets when he comes in from the garden) ... think worms would be ok if you was growing in some hench raised bed .... but might be too distructive in pots i think? i don't know... but have a vision of removing a rootball from a pot and finding a load of flattened worms lol

todays inspection was fine... all standing up straight and looking quite nice, some of the lower leaves have a kind of matt finish and tougher leaf then the sativas i've grown (ill treated lol)...they are all nice and green.... but these Green O's seem to have rough feel to the touch, i have never grown one that feels like a plastic plant before... is this normal?

the growth at the top of each plant seems to be slow, but there is more growth happening at once now.. i'm seeing side branches between leaf sets too... so i guess they are switching into 2nd gear :-).

after having to core drill 2 more 75mm exhaust holes in the bulk head after the new lights were put in yesterday (temps were constant 81 for 3 hours after installation), temps settled down to 72-75 overnight ... had to cover all lights and plants with a blanket and work around them. i hate any sort of upset and wished i had ironed out these things before starting, but this is not an ideal world so i will just have to be as careful as i can be.
