Looking great m8! Love the wet towel idea. Fighting low humidity myself, will be adding the towel shortly.
Also high pH in my tap water here. Next spring, rain water will be my next test! + rep for those m8!
Keep it up!

many thanks bro :-)..... ok one thing i have noticed .... towel is a thing of the past right now...although it bought my growbox up from low almost no humidity, to 45-50% depending on how dry the towel got (very impresive i thought), but since this morning its been 60% with no towel... it seems 30ltrs+ of perlite and wet soil is enough to raise it to a stupid level and just before flowering starts too...... hopefully it will drop again after the roots start to take over (i really dont know) ... but i'm not too worried as "onlycumbershere" has already hit on what i think could be the ansa to this problem... make reflective covers for the pots... should be fairly simple to make ... and help keep the evap down....might make a tiny saving as it should mean less watering (less nutes) .. lol ... that should help towards the cost of windscreen reflector i'm gonna cut up to make the covers PMSL

Here is my Diesel Ryder first, The Connie Chung second, LA Con 3rd (fan leaves are bigger than my hand), and last 2 are my biggest bitch. I just took two clones off of each of my three largest ones, so i will have rooted clones (hopefully) by the time I switch to flowering. I hope none of them are males tho.. but that probably wont happen..

Morning!... the hinges creaked as i opened the wardrobe this morning... i was quite excited to see how the three plants been over night, a small hit of humid weedy smelling air passed by and mixed with the musty air within the shed, it took a second or two for my eyes to adjust to the light that now silhouetted me from my crouched position at there feet, and brightened the cobwebed far reaches of the other side of the workshop, as my tired itchy eyes reacted to the sudden enlightenment slowly and i moved my gaze from left to right checking to see if yesterdays pot change had affected the stance and rigid structure of the three little plants .... fine.... fine.... and OH MY!... a sudden rush of shock took over i think something could be wrong... little plant on the right looks damaged.... it had a lean that wasn't there yesterday... its leaves had turned in an awkward manor and was leaning in as if it had been pushed over.. almost as if it had been caught in a sudden gust of wind and had stayed like it........ or someone had LST'd it.... it only took a a couple of seconds to dawn on me ...... I NEED MORE LIGHT

update.. two more 125w CFL's on there way.... they should be spoilt for light on thursday :-)

feekng £50 notes though! (will add them to my Hps tent for side lighting after i'm done with them in this grow box so i shouldn't moan)

My white widow got a little sickly but she turned right back, as long as she stays steady and doesnt decline in health anymore I think you're okay:) and if not, you got more seeds buddy!:p

I was thinking about throwing my weak ass (15w) fluorescent bulbs on the side cause the branches are shaded..but then again, I was thinking, wont they just stretch to come out to the canopy and get the HPS?:)

i think they would .... but loads of hps users stick red cfl in the back corners as side lighting... i have seen loads of people saying CFL'S are no good for flowering.... then bugger me backwards when flowering starts they add the cfl's to there HPS grow.... so fuck it whack em in!

Dude...

You should have come check me for bulbs, I've been on the case because I need to get some more 2700k lighting for my flowering....

These are 75w equivalent and only £1.20;
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/120785397347?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649#ht_1950wt_905

I'm going to replace all of my current 75w's with these ones.

I think it'll be okay though, once it gets used to it's new house and the roots get spreading more :)
oooooooooooooooooooooohhhhh bollocks.... my first impressions was 75w 850 lumen output quite low compared to 125w 7500 lumen output.... ... but after doing the £ for £ comparison ... turns out for my £50 i could have got 35500 lumens if i'd got your bulbs... fair enough i'd have to have 40 of them ... but i'm sure you can guess i feel a wally!

My mate uses one single 250w CFL under a HPS reflector. It's massive! lol over a foot long and prbs about 7/8 inches wide.
But it's great for his vegging room with six clones now getting quite large. He picked it up for £15 I think on eBay.
Can't say what it's like for flowering though, but I do know it's full spectrum so it would work.

the 250's tend to be either 6400k blue... or 2700k red... i don't think they do a duel spectrum 250.... but the 125's come as a duel spectrum... 3 tubes are blue and 3 are red(much dimmer??).... if you look at my last pictures ... you can see the plant in the middle is soaked in what looks like white light, thats the blue three pointing down.. while the two plants on the outside are only getting the reflected red light from off the reflector..... thats why my end plant has turned itself and is heading towards the lamp now :-( .. but she's gonna get her own lamp on thursday and so is the other one lol.... 7500 lumens per plant should do it i hope?

yeah cumbers... your mates 250w should be roughly the same size as the 125w duels i'm using... and they are much bigger then i'd imagined they would be..

OPINIONS PLEASE...........

2 days ago .... (48 hours to the minute) i repotted all three plants .... 11ltr pots new soil 60%/40% perlite as per update 31-10-2011.... now my problem is

the 48 hours before i transplanted them the growth was unreal ... super fast.... since they have been moved growth has slowed (not stopped) but slowed to a crawl (colour looks good throughout) are they sulking? do you think they've started rooting again? or have i done something wrong???

what ever you think let me know!
