As for entrapment, it is defined as inducing someone to commit a crime that they otherwise were "unlikely" to have committed without your inducement. The court ultimately decides if entrapment occurred, the constitution doesn't get into the specifics for each possible case.

Like I said, the show catches many people who need to get caught, and for that I'm thankful. However, given that they are motivated by a very high paying network and advertisers to get as many guys in there as they can, they most likely entrap some of the people.

Also, like I said, I have seen where a guy was uncomfortable with the situation and wanted to get offline, and the girl kept baiting him in and tempting him to keep going. This guy would've not done it if she hadn't had entrapped him. That is wrong. It is especially wrong when the guy is 19 and she is saying she is 14 or 15 (and looks 18 when he sees her).

Would I ever screw around with a 14 or 15 year old? No, of course not. But I'm just saying entrapment is always wrong, and it is especially wrong when the lines are blurry (in some states consent is okay at 14, etc.).

When the show profits off catching predators who prey on children, that is fine. I'm all for that. When it profits off preying on and entrapping young men who otherwise would never have gotten into that trouble... that is wrong.

I'm not justifying Pedophilia. That is a sick disease and those people should be put in jail for life. But what I'm saying is that we shouldn't define pedophilia with an age. Some states define it at 18, other's at 14 or even 13. That is ridiculous... you can walk a mile across state line and go from being normal to a pedophile who deserves to be executed?

I knew both guys and girls who had pretty much fully passed puberty by 13 or 14 years old... shaving every day, voice had changed, etc. Then again, I knew of 18 year old girls who had not even had their first period yet.

Pedophilia is a sexual disease and should be defined sexually, as desiring sex with sexually un-developed people. It shouldn't be defined by an age.

I'm just saying there are probably a few who get entrapped. There was a guy who committed suicide after being on the show, and NBC settled the lawsuit and paid off his family (probably millions of dollars) rather then allow the public to see what all goes on in how they run the show. The family had media ethicists and a lot of testimony ready to prove that the show cares much more about profits then about pedophilia (surprise).

I don't know... I don't really care. I'll never find myself in that situation, so I don't feel sorry for idiots who fall for the trap. But all is not *always* what it seems on T.V., I'll leave it at that.

Who are you protecting by putting him in jail? Horny 15 year old girls? Girls who actively seek out men like that are going to find someone to fuck, you do know that don't you? If a girl is past puberty and is sexually mature and can think for herself, then let her act like it.

This country treats people like they are babies until they are 21. Back in the day people only fucking lived until their 20's or 30's. People can grow up fast. And they would, if this country would just let them. The logic of our laws is shown to be as stupid as it is when you think about the fact that young men can die for their country at 18 but can't buy a beer at most places in this country.

If I was 19 or whatever and some 15 year old girl found me online and kept trying to keep me from getting offline and finally seduced me to come over to her house... I wouldn't consider myself a child molester. I would consider myself a 19 year old male.

When the show catches predatory molesters of pubescent or pre-pubescent children, it is doing good and I applaud it. When it entraps hormone crazed young men by initiating relationships with them, preying on them with women old enough to be sexually mature, and hanging *adult* women out the door begging them to come in, it is doing bad.

So the show does some good and some bad. I don't know how often it does each... because the contractors who make tons of money convincing these guys to come to the house are not willing to release their full transcripts, and the show itself only shows us excerpts of what goes on.
