Easy way to fix em, plant some hemp. Let them steal it, grow that shiz out n smoke it. :fire: in the meantime if you know where the plants are, hit them with some weed killer in the middle of the night if they are outside.

So it’s a given that I’m growing weed, outdoor, and it’s another that I have already been robbed this year. I grow legally in my state, excluding the fact that my plants aren’t in a confined area other than the fence that separates my neighbors’ property.

I know the person who stole my plants. He brags about how big they are. I know where he has them, the address, the owner and people who live there. And I’ve been told he was lurking my street last night.

Should I enclose the grow more than my property and call the cops? I’m at a loss. I don’t want to do anything rash or stupid, but I should do something. I’m more concerned about future plants being taken than the ones that were already stolen. These people that I’m dealing with are very aggressive, competitive, and indulgent - reason and persuasion have no leverage.

Thanks for your time and consideration. I ask for and appreciate any advice anyone might have.
I would enclose it if you can to make it legit. Then maybe get a security camera to be able to show the cops if they do it again. That would be trespassing and theft, and they would care about that as long as your following the laws. Sorry to hear about it man, but at least we can legally grow now and you can start again with better security. Good luck.

Same here. I would have a hard time not taking the law in my own hand if that happened to me. But I also don't want to go to jail for it either. I wouldn't be surprised to find myself there though if that did happen to me, but would hope I wouldn't do anything I'd regret. It's sad people do that shit to begin with.

I literally left NM after crossing a gang that’s been around since the late 30’s. A family tradition for some. They’ve been featured at least twice on A&E stuff about gangs. The Brewtown Locos. I can hear laughs now. But you don’t laugh when 50-75 show up armed on both ends of the street. The second time they tried to shoot me it struck the door of my old lady’s truck. Dumb bastards shooting 9’s. You never know who you are actually messing with.

By the way I had zero clue this little worm was the son of the president of this bunch. He was locked down in the NM state pen but still called all the shots. He didn’t take too kindly to me shooting up their video store that was a front. I wasn’t shooting any pea shooter either. Explaining why they shot from hiding both times but a guy gets two breaks you don’t try for a third.

I know this may sound like a hard way out, but if moving becomes an option, take that shit up. Better to wash your hands of bad people who do you or others wrong than to get the law involved or take matters into your own hands. It is a bummer that it becomes a lose, lose situation but maybe you will find something even better than where you are at now. Old dude that did you wrong will get his in time, patience pays out in the long run. Just my .02, I am not a super confrontational person, I would rather change my shit then deal some sort of lunatic, because if I change me and they stay the same, its moving forward and positive in the bigger picture. Best of luck to ya.

I wouldn't still be growing in a location thats already been hit by a thief. It will get hit again. Time to move and don't let people know you are growing.

Your walking away from your legal LEGENDARY lab after all the blood and sweat because your now a target ?

How is your HOME and your creations (not to mention family ) not worth protecting and defending against all who try to invade ?

Unless of course vatos locos are 75 men deep and have you surrounded ;)

you gotta move. thats the least confrontational way. if its a lil bitch then take care of it but it sounds to me like youve ran into a thug. no choice but to move. Bear traps are great but his buddy can pry the trap off , take him to the hospital and still take your whole room. If laws aint changed any then you can still go to jail for using traps in your own house. This is earth fellas, the bad guys always win...

You get this guy in a bear trap, regardless of if he's trespassing, you will get sued and he will win. If you cantch him breaking into your home, you were in fear for your life and self defense rights kick in... you gotta pick your fights. this one is one of those battles where even if you win you probably lose. best to just move on and keep things more secretive next time.

This is good conversation and a sign of the transition we are in from illegal to legal .

Most important in a legal situation is knowing the rules of the game of Home defense and the stand your ground laws . I reckon you cannt play the game unless you know what the rules are 1st .Is my take away so far .

I don’t know anything about the bear trap home defense not a page in my play book .Seems lil to millennial a mind set for me .
