never said anything about your site.

i just stated the plain fact that nebraska, which you claim is not a voter ID state, has pages of laws detailing which documents and identification you need to provide in order to able to vote.

that makes them just like alaska and colorado, which you have called voter ID states.

unless you can show me a state with no laws regarding which documents and identification you need to show in order to be able to vote, then i will rest soundly knowing all 50 states have voter ID already and we can put this whole debate behind us.

I cited ncsl.org as a source for States with voter ID laws.

You say that every State has voter ID laws. (Except AK and CO)

Just voted. Had my license on me which is rare. They didnt ask for it. Just opened up the book asked my address and had me sign my name in the ledger.

All you've tried to do is change what it means to be a State with voter ID laws. Unfortunately for you, the rest of the world disagrees. You simply don't understand what a voter ID State is. I'm sure that won't stop you from trying to do more 'semantic assraping', though.

He goes off on a really funny tangent, starts posting numbers that are completely irrelevant, and thinks somebody somewhere believes him.

How many non-citizens participate in U.S. elections? More than 14 percent of non-citizens in both the 2008 and 2010 samples indicated that they were registered to vote. Furthermore, some of these non-citizens voted. Our best guess, based upon extrapolations from the portion of the sample with a verified vote, is that 6.4 percent of non-citizens voted in 2008 and 2.2 percent of non-citizens voted in 2010.

Because non-citizens tended to favor Democrats (Obama won more than 80 percent of the votes of non-citizens in the 2008 CCES sample), we find that this participation was large enough to plausibly account for Democratic victories in a few close elections. Non-citizen votes could have given Senate Democrats the pivotal 60th vote needed to overcome filibusters in order to pass health-care reform and other Obama administration priorities in the 111th Congress. Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) won election in 2008 with a victory margin of 312 votes. Votes cast by just 0.65 percent of Minnesota non-citizens could account for this margin. It is also possible that non-citizen votes were responsible for Obama’s 2008 victory in North Carolina. Obama won the state by 14,177 votes, so a turnout by 5.1 percent of North Carolina’s adult non-citizens would have provided this victory margin.

We also find that one of the favorite policies advocated by conservatives to prevent voter fraud appears strikingly ineffective. Nearly three quarters of the non-citizens who indicated they were asked to provide photo identification at the polls claimed to have subsequently voted.

Your own link said you don't need your ID to vote. I won't bother pasting it again because we both know it's there.

Here's what you should do: Edit the wikipedia page on the subject and then contact ncsl.org and all the other sites that deal with State voter ID laws and inform them of the error. I'm sure they will all agree with you.
