Then Hopefully the Church will be available at the right time ;)

.........

As I obviously have plenty of time to choose :D (seeds planted in Feb and all :) )

For a Starter Run I am going to stick with what I have for an Early spring to summer flowering cycle :D

Which means things are going to Have to start moving more rapidly if plants are to be housed by March......

So much to do..... so little time...... At least the digging is easier this time :D :hump:

Hiya Dragon,
The top soil looks real nice there, should be an excellent grow..:peace:
Thank You much my friend!

The more I get into this grow, the happier I am about it! Soil Quality included :D! Still getting 8-9 uninterrupted direct hours of sunlight in the greenhouse area everyday! :)

I am planning on using Max Sea on two of the plants outdoors as a comparison to see if I like it :)

30 seeds would be like 600 bucks......... or I could get 10 packs of the parent strains for 50-60 each, and breed my own..... but either way its ordering off the net, which I don't do.....

Imagine If I did..... :D

Hopefully a buddy of mine won't mind doing it when the time is right!

Thanks for the Suggestion

Well TLD my hats off to ya BRO. I'm doing the same as you but on a much smaller scale.I'm behind a corn field I got that sits on 120 acres. Very secluded area. I don't post much I guess I'm so paranoid...BUT.....I'm subscribing to this grow. I look forwrd to this now as moch as i'm into SUBCOOL. TLD maybe one day when they decrimilize we can do a super outdoor combo grow....LOL. I'm a in the background kinda guy

Time for this Journal to really start getting under way.... Don't be surprised if I start posting pics of plants very soon, as some are already going strong! :D

as of now, my spring run will consist of:

1 Purple Kush

1 Twilight

1 Chemo Cindy

a couple Jack Herers

At least 1 Silverback

And Hopefully a few more I have yet to elect :) .... I would like to have about 16-20 go out for the spring run to provide ample variety, and enough quantity to hold me and my patients over through the longer summer fall season ;)

Was checking the almanac, and it seems Perfect for the plants to start going out towards the end of February and flower all the way through the beginning and middle of May, both photo period and frost wise :).

I don't think the Greenhouse will be completed then by any means.... But I do think that as I harvest the spring run, and put the full season plants out, the greenhouse will be getting very close (or at least close enough) to being completed :D. Considering the semi permanency of it.... I am putting off construction until I have made all the necessary preparations and (unfortunately) all of the appropriate decisions and plans :/ ;).

I have found a source for well seasoned Horse manure (fresh stuff available too to mix them together :D )..... I have found a source for Llama droppings (seasoned and fresh)..... I have found a source for Fowl dropping enriched topsoil..... I have plenty of granular decomposed granite already added to the bottom layer of usable soil. Perlite will be added... bat guanos.... earth worm castings... some blood and bone meals...... some steer manure..... and a few other store bought goodies and amendments....

The soil that is already there is Top Shelf for natural soil! I will make a diagram that shows what the layers are going to be looking like so you can get a better idea of where its headed. Provided good weather tomorrow, I will get pics of the area as it is.... as I have already sifted through and leveled out most of the area...... nature providing rain for leeching all the way along! :D

I sure am super excited about this upcoming season..... but I know that I am going to need a good amount of luck..... and As much love from Mother Nature as I can get...... so far she is holding my hand and gently tugging me through everything, guiding me and allowing sweet providences along the way (such as perfect natural granite content, consisting of perfectly placed shelves and veins, and the perfect variety of decomposed and solid granite as well as amazing soil quality, lots or rain, and enough stone in the soil for me to construct the necessary walls as we go along..... but you will see what I am talking about in these regards very soon here and all along the way ;) ).

I would hope that anyone that reads through this journal (besides myself) will feel confident by its end in composing their own future successful outdoor grows based on information that will flow forth :).

Im back, yep...

Going into 2010 it was time to start redistributing rocks I had pulled out of the ground, amending the local soil (as great as it already is), and planning for the construction phases. During this time I also cleared quite a few more trees for sun exposure, and was able to mark the plants responses to a "harsh winter" (as it rained and snowed more than avg.). Might be worth mentioning that none of the plants got special treatment, and indeed were "abused" in terms of my care for them, and Not a Single one died!
. Doing this helped me understand exactly what I need to do to have successful winter flowering cycles in the greenhouse for years to come.

So during the planning phase for the greenhouse, I discovered that a leach field is sitting basically right under the red bud (all the red circles in the pics in the post above), and that I cannot build in that area like I had originally intended. So I had to adjust me plans to how they are currently. I put a fresh batch of plants out to flower back in March (not all that are pictured stayed outside), and ended up moving most of them back inside just recently to finish flowering.
I got a decent harvest off of the plants that flowered over the winter, but the ones I put out for the spring flower cycle couldn't take the weather swings (sunny for a week, snow for a week), so all but 5 Purple Kush in 5 gallon pots made it back inside.
I have been adding more amendments to the soil over this entire spring. I got seedlings going as well as clones to put out soon.

And this brings us to where things are now outside. Lots more soil to move, 5 PK and 2 other plants outside, and time running short. These plants have been outside for a month now, and have been snowed on a total of 4 times, not including yesterday and this morning (hopefully the last storm). They are showing signs of flowering now, and have perked up a good amount.
I had a buddy that was going to bring his tractor over to finish moving all the soil, but that didn't work out. So I have to jump out there again with shovel etc to finish doing that over the next week. Then I will put up the raised beds and continue on from there.
I will get pics when all the soil is in place and level before I put up the raised beds.

These Moms are going into the raised beds in a couple more weeks, once its ready out there. Hopefully weather makes it easy on me to get them in the beds right around May 8th or so..... They would be much happier outside. I have started giving them dark time. I gave them a neem shower tonight,
. I got really depressed starting in January (fathers PPD), and obviously the plants have all suffered through it with me. A perfect example for me of how looking at my plants is like looking in the mirror.

(the black plastic behind them is 9 ft tall)

Pics

the 8th and 9th picture are of Sensi Star, she may veg inside slightly longer than the others (shrugs)

The rest are PK, they will take the 6 large raised beds on the West side of the plot/greenhouse
