I will keep this journal as updated as possible. Accurately recording this first year is going to be crucial in determining future adjustments and techniques, so I am going to make sure I do
....... gotta clear some more trees before I get the desired exposure, luckily thats all I have to clear 
Gotta finish cleaning it up... the rest of my "team" left about 20 mins later than you.... just me finishing up the rest of yesterday.... too tired yesterday evenning to take pics of the progress (it was dark when I quit anyways).... But I will make sure to this evening
...... found a 9 ml. nut....... throttle not engaging though..... needs some loving that machine does ....... gunna need a larger chain saw to tear into that trunk....Im happy bout it! couldn't have gone any better IMORIght on gang

I am using "alternative" materials. I have access to old telephone poles that are in good condition
. other than that I will be re using some 4"x6"x8' for headers, well spread out 2"x4"x12' for studs, and a 3/4" pvc for roof structure..... thats for frame only...... fiberglass panelling, 2-4ml clear plastic for siding and roof covering, 2"x6"x5' siding for the raised beds, I am going to probably do a granite pony/retaining wall for the north side of the greenhouse as well, with slate inlaid pathways, will probably do three rows of beds, larger beds along the outside walls and some smaller beds strait down the middle. I will put in some pocket shelving as well. Some supplemental lighting (optional really), a heating system for the winter time (which I am yet to design), and an intake, exhaust, and circulating fan system as well. I will probably line in water for easy access, (not to mention that the pvc roof structure will also be a full mist system ).....it will all come together I am sure.... just not sure about meeting my October Deadline...... its an ambitious goal I am sticking to though....... just about everything is in order...... I couldn't be happier about it all,
I will be able to post up pics of my indoor reveg for the first tester crop in about a week and a half, and then I will select clones for a spring crop, and do a combination of seeds and clones for next years full season,

so the tree hasn't been cut on since Sunday....
But Im almost completely moved, so I can finish by this weekend..... here is how it has sat since Sunday... the dear are loving the fresh green missle toe, venicin anyone?
I hope to have it all out of the way by next week so I can start laying the ground work (leveling, leeching, cleaning etc.) for the greenhouse next week, go pick up most of the framing materials the week after that and get going on building...... so it gives me one month to build and set up before I put plants in there.... one hell of a mess eh???

I like to keep track of the preperation just in case some one wants to read through threads to sift information out rather than asking questions that have already been answered if they had only chosen to read it.
That and it helps me make sure I do everything Im supposed to when Im supposed to, logging things helps identify the causes of problems etc.
Tree work is no joke, safety first.....
But sometimes you just gotta be a hardcore mother fucker and jump up in there and tear the beast apart!
I plan to spend gas money on the set up..... thats it (to go get materials that are free)

got some saw work done (in between working yesterday)....... but over did it..... got bit back by becoming very nasty sick today 
.......... just taking the day off, putzing round the house...... coughing a bunch of crap up.... but hey gives me and excuse to clean all my glass this weekend

didn't need the tree gear for much really.... for super tall cedars pines and firs mostly .... lots of topping to do getting some rough cut plans up soon

...... this will take quite a while to get going.... Im working on the greenhouse layout right now, I will post a rough schedule of events then
I know logging; taking them down and bucking them up is far more efficient than topping. Better environmental impact and cedar/fir are valuable trees.didn't need the tree gear for much really.... for super tall cedars pines and firs mostly

this is a very very basic layout of how the greenhouse will be put in pony wall (retaining wall) on the face and back....... its the only layout I am planning on putting up..... maybe a couple other odds and ends later......

only other thing to report is that I plan on putting 186 total working hrs into construction (yeah I broke it all down, and thats not including a couple helpers for 40+ hrs each)...... and If I did it for most of you it would cost $10,000-$12,000 professionally built and permitted (Ag Exempt of course) beds ready to grow in with plant supports in place, with inline R/O water and inline 220V 50amp, lights/fans not included.
that And I have admitted to myself I am not going to be able to do a winter run..... spring will be the first go around for the greenhouse, I plan to put 3-5 ft plants in in the Very beginning of February...... well maybe mid-end Feb weather depending.

Looks like you've been busy. How did the tree cutting go? When i seen you Monday night you were planning on cutting on Tuesday.
Seen Dr. Brown (well his assistant) today and i'm good for 25 now. I can sleep better now.
Thought you were coming by on Friday to grab the "BIG SAW"? Must of got it handled. Call me when you can (nothing important)or if you need too come grab the Big Saw. i'll be home all day tomorrow working on the shed.
