Rough Layout and info of Future Greenhouse

ok, here it is:

N
W E
S

General Description:
Notice the steps coming down at the top of the layout, that is Due North. Each Red Square is a 4x4 post, and each Red Line is representation of the basic inner structures framework layout. Around the outside of the greenhouse there is exactl 7 ft from the center of one post to the next (accept the Last two on the south side are only 4 ft apart). 8.66" is the distance from exact center of post to exact center of post going the width of the greenhouse (internal support beams for roof), and every 7 ft going the length of the greenhouse. The purple line is at 28 ft (going N to S) and is an indicator of where the soil level line may drop by 6" to 12" depending on how the upcoming soil distribution works out.
The solid brown area indicates the generally level area. Larger "lush" green squares are 4x4x2 boxes (only 18" above ground). Smaller "lush" green boxes are 2x2x1.5 (only 12" above ground). The "Puke" green Rectangles are vegetable boxes that will be built in stadium fashion. The purple areas indicate enter and exit points. The larger red shaded areas at the Far North and Far South points of the greenhouse are indicative of large Fans to be place there.

Dimensions:
A.) For Cannabis Use:
1196 sq ft Canopy area (46x26)
Thick Red to Thick Red is 46 feet, so 46 ft long
26 feet wide.
12 ft tall at side walls approximately 18 ft tall at center, 6H/13L (.45) slope of roof
B.) For vegetable Use:
Im not sure, but whatever the half circles on each end measures out to, plus a little.

Building process:
A.) Outside walls marked. (today)
B.) Raised Beds constructed in place and prepped for plants, including 1x1 support system. (by May 15th at latest)
C.) Posts set. (By June 20th or so)
D.) Plumbing routed into greenhouse, and Circulation Fans Installed. (by July 1st)
E.) bottom 4 ft of greenhouse walls finished being constructed. (By August 15th)
F.) Top 8 ft of sidewalls completed. (By Oct 1st)
G.) Roof frame Complete. (By Oct 10th)
H.) Roofing mechanisms installed, roofing material installed. (By Oct. 20th)
I.) 220v 60 Amp Breaker box installed at Greenhouse, split to 4 15 Amp circuits. (By November 10th)
J.) HID lighting installed and in use. (By November 30th)
K.) All necessary Adjustments should be completed as necessary by the end of February 2011.

I left out TONS of minor details. I am not even sure about all of them yet. So If anyone has any questions or comments please feel free. I would like to hear what you have to say, preferably before I am done with whatever phase the question/comment is about. That way if you catch something I don't, I can address it in the planning or constructing phases.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Air circulation will be crucial in there to keep lower temps and humidity coming out of the summer months, and good warm air circulation during the winter. There will also be a screened vent 14" tall lining the bottom of the entire greenhouse, that I can block off easily during the winter. And another screened vent along where the sidewalls meet the roof, only 4" though, but still easily blocked up to hold heat during the winter.

I was thinking about:

Getting 6 of these (4 for circulation, 2 for exhaust) http://www.northerntool.com/shop/too...&ci_sku=250619

And getting 2 of these (intake at N S ends) http://www.globalindustrial.com/p/hv...campaignId=T9I (This means running a 30 Amp and 2 15 Amp circuits instead of 4 15 Amp Circuits.)

I was also thinking about using this as the upper 8' of the walls and the roof (the lower 4' will be all windows, 3', and the bottom vent, 1'). http://www.farmwholesale.com/panels.php3
The 8' for the walls would be permanently affixed, and the plan is for the roofing to be turned into one huge roll that I can just roll out for storms.

In this layout:

Blue Lines indicate water lines
Blue Circles indicate spigot or sink
Red Circles at Top and Bottom of layout indicate Intake fans
Red Circle in Center of Layout Indicates Exhaust
Orange Circles Indicate Circulation Fans
Also, see venting info above.

the permanent outdoor setup is legit, hope the new position away from the clay works out for ya! we cant do green houses in CA because of the high humidity, but i am way stoke to see your pan out for ya!

i love your quote about how plants are like a mirror for us, and i hope that your plants are way happy this round. i have been blessed with two great harvests, and not one snag. hopefully you will have similar luck this round!

looking at ure prices for gh , seems twice the amount of wat ull actually spend . the prices for concrete , fans , pvc pipe , nails and screws , lumber and not to mention the electrical seem exorbitant . if someone charges 1800$ for a box , breaker and a short home-run there looken 2 get rich off one job . my humble thoughts .

Don't know why people don't read and understand the italicized and emboldened words and phrases...... but it doesn't matter: Your Right though pinkjackyle. Your name is very disturbing to me though (don't ask unless you already know and are playing a game)

But anyways..........

I really only just came in here to say -

This grow was over before it started, and I knew it would be, but HAD to try. And now my heart crumbles to nothing, and my dreams along with them... I think I will continue to try, or at least wrap it up in a good way..... But I just don't see it, not anymore, and right now I don't even know what my foot is so I doubt I will be any good at putting it in front of me either way I go.

your name strikes at the core of correlative personal things in my life that suggests you either don't know me and are innocent in creating your name, or you know me well, and have formulated your name as a representation of a real and present danger or you are playing with my mind. Im pretty sure that doesn't mean anything to you, so logically the former is true, that you don't know me personally and your screen name has nothing to do with me.

My sorrow sinks deep, and really has nothing to do with you personally at all either, but rather with the MOST important things in my life, that are it seems completely out of my control, yet I have to make a decision and act upon it. I have to decide which path to follow to get to my future, and I need help making that decision. For so long my choice has been made, and I have followed through to the best of my ability. Now I question the choice I have made, and am reconsidering it.

So I have to make a choice. The most difficult choice I have ever made, one way or another. My foot is reality, moving it is my decision. And right now, I don't even know what my foot is so I doubt I will be any good at putting it in front of me in either direction.

And luckily there are people around that can offer an outside perspective in what my foot is, and drawing that together with what I am able to observe and surmise on my own, I am able to come to a satisfactory conclusion and develop a solid comfortable base to make my decision from. Looking at the paths before me, and discussing them with wise people helps me make the best decision in which direction to move my foot. Taking the time to stand and wait and communicate before I make such a decision, I am able to weigh and measure and accept and prepare and clear myself for the task. I then confidently lift and move my foot forward, one small step for man kind and one giant decision for tld.

So a decision has been made, now a path needs to be chosen. I have spoken with the tour guides in the area, and am now standing talking to my hiking partner. After careful planning and communication, we move our feet forward together. Now we know our route, and we have begun our journey, we help fellow hikers along the way, but rely solely upon each other to share the journey, to get to the end together, as that is part of the path that was originally chosen, and part of the plan. We know what our feet are and where we stand, we are fit to move, and move we shall. So this is the longest hike you could ever be on, and in the big plan for the full tour, we must make many stops and overcome a variety of terrain and obstacles. We have everything within our resourceful wit to help us along the journey, and will acquire more supplies along the way to replenish our stocks. We will fall down, get back up, and encounter whatever lies in our sight on the paths before us, a mystery in experience always just up ahead. Our hike will help people, our foot steps left to guide people in the future. And once we have covered the whole tour, and woven our way through the weather, we can go home in the end. We can sit and remember, relax and rest. We can pass on the pieces of ourselves that we left on the paths, so that the next sets of hikers have wise advisers, and they may successfully complete their hike, their journeys through life, well prepared and ready. That their journey may be better than ours, or at least the best it can be for them, and they are able to come home in the end, pass on the pieces of themselves that were left on the paths.

And so, we will be able to close our eyes, and they will too. And we will meet again on the next journey, maybe not a hike, maybe something new. The paths will still be there, and our pieces part of them, for all hikers to observe as they pass by in their own fashion and experience, enjoy and carry on leaving a piece of themselves behind. The pieces are there to see for any that choose to look, and for those whose eyes happen to fall upon them.

We just passed a fork in the path that's all, we saw what we saw and experienced what we experienced. We now carry a piece of that part of the path with us, as we have left our own behind. On the move again, the break is over, the storm has cleared and we ca see the path before us. So this is a piece of the path that I have left for you, and it is now your own experience to carry away. When you get to the end, you may pass this piece on, or it may just help you along the way.

I hope that doesn't give you too much trouble. My mom messed up the nerves in her foot, and its never left her alone. Really sucks for her she can't walk for long distances, or run at all, but she still gets around with a smile on her face, :).
