hope you wake up feeling way better. Drag to have to deal with the storm, and aftermath with such a fever.
I was going to work on the plants I cut down during the storm yesterday, but then after the rain dried off enough to start on 'em, the power went out! Hard to trim in the dark!
wishing you well ~

I am feeling a bit better...... yeah hard to trim in the dark..... but power outages has been so common in my life that stored water, wood burning stove, and 2 or 3 large candles/lanterns for every room is a must any where we live (but of course we will only ever live in the mountains, :) ) My wife trimmed up the rest of that Sensi Star Runt last night...... I should have dry weights by this weekend....... stinks to high hell, and we aren't even knee deep yet, :)...... doesn't matter how sick I get, or how many storms pass, I am truly blessed

I am going to go out in the afternoon and check on the PK and greenhouse girls...... so until then, don't cramp your hands up just yet guys ;)

Dogs are fine, just had a cell go thru that dumped at least 1/2 inch in 10 mins, all in all we survived pretty much intact. Just worry about mold but if this breeze keeps up? well, I'm crossing my fingers.. Best wishes to you and the family, waiting to hear how you faired?..bongsmilie

Accept the PK Of course :) Couple more pumped feedings for her.....

for being the only one outside the greenhouse with now cover..... she came out better off than any of the others :)

Good to hear, sometimes it's best to let them be..the worst of my damage came from the back of the garden where the two fences meet and the privacy screen is? The swirling wind whipped the plants and took out the screen..2 branches that had to come in and 3 more that I'll have to watch close. :bigjoint:

So glad to hear everyone and everything is pretty healthy!
I think I read somewhere in your journal about budworms. Someone had the misfortune, and you commented you didn't have that problem. Seem to remember you had used garlic, and if so, how did you use it??
(or did I make that whole conversation up??)

yeah, the biggest calyxes developed a purple hue around the bases that striped out toward the tips..... only about 40% of the calyxes though..... that plant has been throwing out pistils since MAY! So I just chopped her down..... Ima see if maybe she reveges under some fluoros, she cam out pretty airy with lots of foxtails
