Hi there, so I harvested my ladies about a month ago, after drying and curing, I was able to compute about 10oz of cured bud from 5 ladies. Obviously, it didn't take long before we sampled this crop, super danky, potent and sooooooooooo tasty! Being a beginner, this is one of the best harvest I have done so far. I'm already 10 days in flowering stage with another crop (double size, this time) and they look widowlicious. This time, we vegged for 6 weeks and even if the ladies were about 3 feet tall when introduced in flowering stage, they already streched about a feet and are bushy. For the first time, I can see leaves bigger than my hand, all the plants are healthy and it makes me happy! Cuttings were taken in veg state and are developing as expected. So everything is looking pretty good. I will post pics as soon as we can see consistent flowers.

Questions: What is your opinion concerning de-leafing the plants? pros and con, any suggestion welcomed ... Thanksa and happy burn!

I took down 2 WW plants last night. I waited for them to go until I could just see a splash of amber here and there. I wanted to see what it would be like at mostly cloudy trichomes. I will let the next 2 go almost all amber so I can see which way I like better or if a mix of the two might be better. The bud structure was just amazing. Nice tight hard buds. I was also very delighted to see how different the plant structure was from the old (unknown indica dominant) strain that I have been cloning and growing for years. It is all hanging to dry now and I am waiting for a new USB Microscope to arrive that I ordered. I am anxious to post some pics of the harvest but was too tired last night when I finished trimming.

I also got a new cloning unit to try. I used to clone into soil in small peat pots and then transplant the whole thing into either soil or hempy perlite/vermiculite mix. I found the WW a little harder to clone as it seemed to take longer to root than the old strain, at least it was in soil. I am ready to go completely soil free now and am going to try my hand at fog cloning. It is called a Mistic Cloner.

The Mistic Cloner roots cuttings using an ultrasonic fine mist. The system utilizes "Sure To Grow®" inserts making removal of rooted cuttings very simple and easy. The new (STG) medium looks like pillow stuffing. The unit I am testing has 18 - 2" sites. You can use neoprene inserts or the new STG medium. I will post pics later in an appropriate thread as things progress. I am hoping this will eliminate the need for mother plants and I can take cuttings just before they go into flower..

Go WW Club. Thanks for all the help along the way!
Im looking forward to the smoke reports between cloudy and amber. Thanks for doing that. I think you'll be very happy with the Mistic Cloner. Roseman highly approves of it, and gets roots in under a week. Its definitely what Ill pick up down the road. Rosemans detailed notes on how to use it:

Grats on the nice harvest. Wanna share some hehe. Concerning de-leafing..only do it if you want to reduce your yield. Heres a funny thread about a guy who did what your thinking of..

Well Club I am having withdraws from the little 1g I got off that branch i cut. It was a small branch.
I was wondering if I can cut a bigger branch from the bottom of one of my ladys? I think I can make one good size branch from the bottom last about 2 or 3 weeks. Let me know if it would be ok.
I all so bout a 60x-100x micro scope. And from what I can tell the trichomes are clear on 2 of my girls and clear and cloudy on the other girl. I want to be stuck to the couch so I will what till amber. Are until the ww club thinks I should cut.
I love the way my girls look under the micro scope. It is bad ass looking.

Little tommy I can't wait to see the outcome of your amber VS clear. Very cool.

Dont do it. Resist! Think about the lost weight by plucking your lady right now. If I can go over 5 months without smoking any, you can go a few more weeks :)

Here is my white widow 47 days into flowering and I have a question... Why are the leaves on the heads curling like they are when none of the other leaves are curling (you can see in the photos the leaves in the background are perfectly ok) it can't be the light cause the 2 photos I have taken are from the 400watt metal halide light and not the 1000watt HPS.... I don't have heat stress, its climate controlled, I have flushed them but still the weird looking leaves persist...:-(

The buds are coming along nicely, just look friggin weird... Any thoughts anyone?

Ah here to answer the obvious questions
I am growing A DWC in hydroton with a top feeder, feeding 15 mins every hour, its hot where I am, the reservoir temp is 23 degrees celcius, I am using Canna Classic Nutrients, Flores A & B at about 900PPM,
They are not near the fans, nothing is burning, the ph is always excellent, I check it every night and adjust accordlingly... I really am at a loss... Its weird, cause its an unreal smoke, it just looks like shit...:-(

My friend has the same strain and from memory I think his plants did something similar and he grows the same way I do only under 600's...

I have a question I'm hoping someone will have the answer to. When it comes to cloning is it better to keep a mother for cloning, OR, take clones from clones after they have vegged for a while? It seems that clones from clones would be similar to copies of copies where they get worse or weaker after each copy. I'm just trying to get the best as everybody else is so this may be important for many in here.

Thank in advance.

Hey Everybody

Been following this thread for a while and decided to post my pics. I had 2 WW fems that were vegging while what I had flowering finished up. My plan was to keep the bigger healthy one for cloning and flower the smaller one. Well, the bigger one was too big to keep in the veg so plan B - flower the bigger one. Now, it has been flowering for 17 days. I'm using aeroponics,
250 W HPS (flowering),
90 W LED (vegging),
CFL's for clones.
I started using General Hydroponics 3 part system, now using Advanced Nutrients 3 part system. I'm using 3 3/4" net pots, hydroton, and homemade tubs with micro sprayers, 2 air stones per tub, 200 gph pumps, fans, no co2 yet, einstein oil.

Any comments are greatly appreciated.

The pics are:
1. The clones - 3 have died and have been replaced
2. The mother in veg stage
3. (all the rest are the one flowering) 17 days flowering
UPDATED - forgot to say - seeds are from worldwide marijuana seeds - feminised WW - of the 5 I got only 2 popped - the 1 is in flower and the other is the mother in veg. Room size is 3' x 4' x 7' (flower room) - veg room was moved inside to a small closet - 2' x 8' x 7' during the below freezing weather lately. (this room is split in half for veg and clones) Updated pics are of the flowering WW - 3 wks 1 day - looking good so far I think? These are all of the flowering girl!!!

I know what you mean - my first couple of grows were bagseed and they ended up having some seeds in the buds (hermies) but I have 5-6 more weeks to go before I taste my first WW ever - I cannot wait!!!!

Its whatever you want to do. Its just fine to take cuts from the mother, flower her, and repeat this cycle.

Clones of clones dont get weaker as you go on. They're the same as the original mom no matter how many times you do it.

If you let it get big enough sure. Give it 2-3 months of veg, and I think you can achieve that as long as the plant is well cared for.
Oh yeah, I will love on it all the time. I actually have a big WW girl going about 9 months ago and I had a ph meter wack out and I killed her. She must of had 30-40 buds sites. So many I couldn't count. Can't wait to do it again.

Oh man that sucks balls. I had a two week period where my plants were suffering because my ph pen was fucked up as well. Now, I dont use one and my plants have never been happier.

Looking forward to seeing your ladies in a few months.
