I've been experimenting with micro grows. Mini dorm room type of grows featuring LED Cree's. I love Cree, and am quite impressed so far. I'm using 4 watt cool white LED Cree bulbs. They are mini spot light bulbs. They are as efficient going from florescent to LED as it is going from incandescent to florescent. Meaning 10 of em use only 40 watts! They are high quality glass and aluminum construction and come directly from China for $2.50 to $4.00 a pop delivered and last forever. You gotta love it. I think I'm transitioning my florescents to Cree's for rooting clones.

I hear you on 'if I had to buy marijuana I would not smoke marijuana'... part of the reason I went back to growing was definitely budgetary :)

Nice shout outs to the departed... I'm going to my best friend's mother's funeral tomorrow... you know you're getting old when you have more good friends dead than alive :) either that or you're just an f'in antisocial hermit who spends far too my time taking care of his grow ;)

Sub which Pure Blend Pro flower formula you use? Metabolic Bloom or the flower/hydro formula?

Just want to give a big shout out to Subcool. I'm just getting to growing, but I've been around the block in lots of other ways, and I just want to say thanks for your authenticity, smarts and generosity of spirit. It's rare to find even one of those qualities in someone, and you've got 'em all. You also have dedication to a cause that intersects with the very serious issues of freedom and economics. But your approach is refreshingly simple and true.

The world would be a much better place if there were a whole lot of you, but I'm glad we've got the one! Peace to you and all you love.
