I do check CL daily generally the barter/free/wanted (beauty and health is the pot) sections.. I have tried to get rid a of a few items and have done pretty well.. but there are jagdorks who say.. I can get there in 10 mins and never show up..

got rid of a ton of stuff when we moved on CL.. had a swap cooler in 2012 that a guy came from Lancaster to get it.. 2 1/2 hour drive.. he was pretty cool. we talked for a bit helped him load up and then he kept buying stuff too..

I have been tempted to contact a few sellers who have some clones like Green crack but too afraid...lol

I got a few free horses a while ago. I do most of my dealings through craigslist. A majority of the farmers around the area use it to buy/sell/trade equipment and other shit.

Never really had any bad experiences, mostly tire kickers that waste way more time than they should.

Yeah, I've bought and sold stuff here and there on Craigslist for a couple years now. All straightfoward transactions. The chick I sold some camera lenses to the last time was awesome and hot as fuck. She was so hot as matter of fact, that as we were leaving I felt compelled to warn her of the dangers of Craigslist.

Some guy just got a pretty good deal buying my dead car off CL. He has a similar one with 60k more miles in need of some body parts and tires/wheels. I gave him a very good deal as all the other people who responded seemed to want to fix it up and sell it to an unsuspecting fool unaware of bent frame. He'll swap in my engine, very well maintained. My car will live on and it works out very well for him.

But for the most part, I get the shady bastards on CL. Edit... But I'm in the city. CL seems to work really well in less urban areas.

I love CL :) I have gotten many free items myself. I also got all my clones off CL my first grow, and have a nice patient base - if you feel like fighting the flaggers ;)

My biggest problem with CL is that I always seem to get a lot of replies from Nigerian scammers. It's pretty obvious shit but my sister once facilitated an enormous reshipping scheme. She was even engaged to the fictional person who controlled her. Even when I brought it to her attention, she continued! I showed her that the only photo she had of him was the second most stolen photo used by scammers. No reaction. Eventually, it sunk in and she figured it out. It was sad. Not a reflection on CL so much.

This summer I had a trial partnership with a couple of guys fairly new to me. We would buy up storage units, etc. and resell stuff. Part of their business plan was to be pretending that we were not resalers and to stalking the free section of CL snapping up anything we can make a buck on. I felt it was a violation of the free section's intent to do that. It made me sad that the free section of CL would be negated by a bunch of lying predatory 'entrepeneurs' creating nothing but a profit.

Certainly, there were going to be people who would not care but most (I felt) were more motivated by altruistic motives than they were a desire to rid themselves of something. I felt we should be open about our being resellers. They felt I was an asshole. Somewhat later, one of them pitched the idea that we sell t-shirts with primitive drawings and tell people that the money would help "retarded kids". End of trial partnership.

90% percent of my grow equipment has come from CL......I have gotten killer deals......I am in a big city too but never really had any problems.....my friend on the other hand always got ripped off when he used CL......fake clones, shady plumbers, broken electronics and messed up grow equipment....I also refurbish and repair computers, laptops, playstations, wii's and xboxes and post my ad to CL when in need of money....

I helped a guy move 4 blocks and got paid $70 for 3 hours of work... I'd do that daily if I could - Cl is great when it's great, but it's sporadic. it pays to be patient and watch it closely. no doubt there is a wide spectrum there - you could score big - or lose your life!

I was given 2 free trucks by a commercial fridge repair company. One was like a 95 ford diesel and the other one was the newer body style like 2000 ford diesel. Both had Blown engines. Buddy of mine and me towed them less then a mile to the junk yard. Junkyard gave us $1400. Less then 30 minutes of work. All from an ad I place on craigslist.

i all away junk cars trucks boats mowers tractors

you got junk, I got the time!

Spam craigslist with atleast 100 ads a day. Posting in all categories. People will call!
