Dont feel sorry for my children. They are both grown and gone now. Both pretty happy I think. With their own children who know santa is a farce. Just think you lied to your children and told them a saint in red suit sneaks in their home and leaves all the little boys and girls toys. lol I feel sorry for you and your children. Sheeple.
You lost me at sheeple...

That is demonstrably false. It was designed to enslave people and has worked very well.
Liberalism is a process, a thin end of the wedge and the constitution has the means to upgrade itself and does. The population has to evolve with it too. Perhaps you never heard of this, but it doesn't extend to bigfoots as far as I know.

BTW women only had the right to vote in 1918 and in almost all liberal democracies, not just America, but Briton and Canada too, black men had the right to vote 50 years before white women did, white terrorism kept many from exercising the franchise though.

The 14th Amendment to the Constitution was ratified on July 9, 1868, and granted citizenship to “all persons born or naturalized in the United States,” which included former slaves recently freed.

As a kid, my life was horrible.

For my kids, there was/is a Santa. I figured I would do it because there's only a few years in which the world can be a beautiful, magical place and that is as a child.

They have the rest of their lives for seeing the reality that the world is a horrible, ugly, dog-eat-dog place rife with evil.

Let them dream for the very precious few years that they can.

Perhaps a little harsh...and I do appreciate others views and opinions. The cool thing about these threads is you post yours, others post theirs no harm done. I guess it really is to each is their own.

I just meant that santa is obviously a farce made up for the masses, so you will buy stuff. After all if santa came empty handed he would just be a burglar in a funny hat. Its weird to me that people think its ok to pull the wool over your childrens eyes for the sake of a day.

When does it become immoral to lie to your children? Never I guess. If its for the sake of their happiness, blow smoke up their ass their whole lives. Sounds like a great way to build trust. Again to each is their own. If you go against the masses, the masses will attack. Thats ok. In my book honesty is ALWAYS the best policy.

I disagree. Santa is an old timer before all this commercialization.
