The Official Canna Coco & Nutrients Thread

Copied and pasted. I'm thinking either or both Humboldt Flavorful and Diamond Nectar. From what I'm reading, Humboldt Flavorful is more Humic Acid and Diamond Nectar is more fulvic Acid. Could be wrong but that's how I'm understanding it.
Humic and Fulvics (and a brief note on Chealting)
Humic acids are a complex mixture of organic materials. They change the water retention of a grow media and the of
the plant cell, causing it to swell up with more water, creating an osmotic imbalance and promoting the uptake of
nutrient salts. Fulvic Acid, Nature’s chelating agent, is the most powerful type of Humic Acid. Important to the
Krebs Cycle, Fulvic Acid shuttles essential elements across a cell membrane effortlessly and insures the availability
of those elements. Studies show that plants treated with Fulvic Acid show a 36% increase in harvest weight, a 36.5%
increase in growth, and they flower ahead of control plants.
Diamond Nectar - A fulvic acid extract providing a highly available & diverse range of bioactive plant compounds.
Diamond Nectar supercharges your nutrients in order to optimize the health of your plants and the quality of your
crops. By accelerating nutrient absorption at the root boundary zone where minerals enter the plant, small particle
sized fulvic acids optimize nutrient uptake in fast growing vegetation....

Humboldt FlavorFul is a strong solution of 8% refined Humic acid concentrate, a little known and highly useful additive.

The majority of refined Humic acid formulas on the market are .01% concentration. The clear appearance of these watered down derivatives is an indication of the low concentration. FlavorFul is 8% refined Humic acid with a dark, amber color indicating the high concentration.

FlavorFul is comprised of long chains of organic carboxyl and polyhydroxide acids. This complex molecule is very active with many open rings, giving it a large capacity to hold and exchange nutritive cations and anions.

This beneficial exchange of ions enhances cell wall permeability throughout the root and leaf systems and increases negatively charged colloidal particles capable of holding and exchanging cations. Electrolytes are the key to healthy ion exchanges in plants and animals.

Just as an athlete's body needs electrolytes to maintain proper function on the field, plants thirst for electrolytes to optimize health and to maintain sustained vigorous growth.

FlavorFul contains electrolytes that stimulate plant walls, resulting in smooth and consistent uptake and delivery of vitamins, minerals, nutrients and trace elements in soil and fertilizers.

DIRECTIONS: Add 1-5 mL per gallon of water or nutrient solution.

DERIVED FROM: Leonardite.
I have the general organics, GO BOX, has a supplement "Diamond Black" which contains a 6% concentration of humic acid. I wasn't too sure what it did and while the feeding schedule on the side of the box said to only use a mL or two for the first two weeks.. and that's it. Im taking my bottle off the bench, putting her in the game, and will report back on how she did

Hey riu community. I have plants one week into flower in canna coco and have started showing nitrogen toxicity. Jw if anyone else has had and problems using canna a and b and nitrogen toxicity? Ppms are at 700. I've flushed them and plan on starting boost and lowering ppms. I Feed everyday with runoff in one gallon pots. Shod I have started boost at flip to help with more flowering nutrients? Any insight would be helpful. Thanks in advance

Going to replace my 1 plant scrog with 25 soG. Coco hempy in 1 litre.

I will hand water daily. Can I just usE bit milder versioN of nutrients? I dont want to make 5 different strengths of nutrient solution for my girls.

Or should I change my nutrients to something else?

Hi I have just switched from soil to canna coco pro but with it being my first coco grow I didn't know that I should have been feeding nutes from the start I'm now 15days from sprout and have just started using coco a&b at ec 0.6 ph 5.8 my problem is they are light green / yellow colour so will this be ok from this point and will they eventually catch up ??

This is my OG KUSH in 12th day of flowering.

Is it calcium def?
I'm now using only 1 ml/l of A+B.
I used more during veg (2ml/l) but i saw one completly brown tip and lowered dosage was afraid of overfeeding.
It seemed like it stopped progressing for ten days. But now 12th day i can see its affecting more and more leaves.
Also take a note of second picture main cola - tips curling upwards and feel bit dry or crispy

I am watering till very generous run-off like 1 whole liter which I immediately dispose away
I'm adjusting my PH arround 6.0 and runoff seems to have same PH too

Should I increase or decrease A+B dosage ?

OK But what type of light do you have and about the leaves curling up your light may be too close. Also are you running tap or r/o water? Any additives to your recipe.
600W HPS
curling tips- it's not very well seen on photo but that problems with brown discoloration which i think it's calcium def (or nute burn i really dont know) starts occuring even there on that curled tips. Anyway I moved plant little bit from source of light to provide relief.

my water is well water. It's hard water. According to old chemical analysis it should have very good parameters but little bit more iron.

only using A+B and nothing else

Hard to say because I never use well water (hard water). I use r/o water and bring my ppms to 100 with the use of cal/mag and then I add my base nutes. ..

Hey. So I have a question about the canna soil. I´m vegging my plants in 3.5l pots now and I am planing on transplanting to the 25l flowering pots tomorrow. I have been using the biobizz light mix and fertilizing with Rhizo, Vega and Enzym. I have been using 2, 3.8 and 2.5ml/l and feeding every watering. I am thinking about going with the canna professional or the canna professional plus for the flowering pots. The canna soil seems to have a lot more nutrients than the light mix. Should I only fertilize once a week in the canna soil, not fertilize at all for a while, continiue every watering, or only give it one of the fertilizers but not all of them? Thanks in advance for any help
