"THE" lowest odor strain for a ZERO odor control grow?

OK, my turn to ask a few questions....

1 - Why are the normal methods of odour control (extraction fans and charcoal filters) not an option?
For 6 average sized plants you could use an area of 2ft x 3ft x 6ft (high)
This is the fan I ordered. http://www.iaqsource.com/product.php?p=soler-palau_td-100&product=175444&CA_6C15C=464918027

It will go in either the 20x18x23 or the 36x30x18.

Here is the filter. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007ZU6IUY/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3OJY9E0ZY1FCH

Also, the plan is to run 12/12 from seed so these things won't ever reach tree height. It's little more than a PC grow.

Everything about this entire thread is suspect.
I would personally recommend finding a different way to come up with quick cash.

I wouldn't even consider growing cannabis for quick cash, it's an investment of time 3-4 months.

Northern Lights.

you're going to get caught, I almost guarantee it. If the stakes are anywhere near that high you need to reassess that plan

Like said before there is a "no smell strain" out there. In my exsperience Rock Lock from DNA genetic was the lowest smelling plant I ever had. It hardley had any smell all through flower. Now it was grown in coco which at the time was my first run in coco so it may have been on my end why it did not have a strong order. It turned out pretty good for personal head statsh.

It was a fun grow and loves SOG. I had to train the bitch hard to get it to branch, it only wanted to do a popcicle.

Jesus christ! The guy asks a simple friggin question and the peanut gallery has to go off in a totally different direction. Answer the mans question or skip the thread.

OP- "The Church" from GHS is far and away the lowest odor strain that I have grown. The little smell that does come off it is more of a potpourri smell than a typical weed smell.

Good luck

No, he asked a question while posing a scenario that claimed would put his family at risk. And you think we should just ignore that side of the post and advise him on growing without odor control anyway?

And I grew church for my first grow, it stank! It did indeed have a pot pouri smell, but was also clearly identifiable as the smell of cannabis as well. So by the OP, and my experience with growing your answer to the OP, I'd deem you putting his family at risk, and I'd respond to that as well.

Like someone saying I have to grow in my front yard, its illegal, so what low odor strains are there? Yet you think it absurd that people would respond warning against growing in his front yard, as opposed to simply naming a strain? Too funny.

I never said "I" was going to grow without odor control. I asked if YOU had to grow without odor control which strain would you select?

imvho, there is no such thing as a no odor cannabis plant... even tomato plants smell like tomatoes when growing..
my first grow i mistakingly grew super skunk, and had no sort of odor control and for 3 months the entire house smelled like two skunks died under the basement in the midst of having unprotected butt sex with each other, i shit you not, it was bad, and i mean, really fucking bad..
the only good side was that it smelled so much like skunk, it didn't smell at all like cannabis, but still, holy hell, i'd never grow that shit again, not with one carbon filter, not with a 100.. the stress i was under for months and months and months just waiting for that foul ass dead skunk smell to please, for the love of god and everything in this world that is holy, to please just go away.. never again..

there are some low odor strains, like northern lights, but even low odor means low odor for a cannabis plant, which ime, still means plenty of odor..

Might I suggest Insane Seed Possie's "Cantaloupe Skunk"..........lowest odor plants I've seen in a very long time. I'm actually able to leave the door open to the room while the lights are on. The following is from the description:

" Cantaloupe Skunk is a rare pheno of Mendocino Joe's Skunk. One of the first Skunks bred in the late 70's in Southern California, by Sacred Seeds. The only low odour pheno we've ever found in this strain. "

After 17,000+ posts on here one would think that you'd be able to identify a hypothetical scenario.

Regarding The Church, once again after 17,000+ posts one would assume that you would understand that there are varying pheno's within a strain that may have different characteristics (ie odor). OP asked for personal experience with a strain, which is what I gave him. Apparently you found a stronger smelling variety.

And after that many posts I've also seen far more questions asking what "you" would do in the search of an answer of what "I" should do.

And if there is a stinky pheno and a smelly pheno, then this is not an answer to the question. He wanted to know what strains were low odor, not pheno, else by your recommendation someone could spend 2 months vegging a church only to find it was the high odor strain and have to bin it. That would kinda suck and be rather counter productive to his quest for a low odor strain.

Thanks, yeah no kidding, they really assumed the worst didn't they? LOL

Here's a personal fact. I'm so paranoid about smell, I run two Ona buckets in my house between me and the front door, with one running 24/7 next to my vape. I vape on average 1/10th of a gram once or twice a day. I vape so little, it's cheaper to buy it than grow it.

Does that sound like someone who throws caution to the wind and would risk everything including his family for a little weed? BTW, I'm 62 years old, not 16.

You're one of the first voices of reason to participate here. Thanks. :)

To the rest of you: This thread is not what it appears, I have no death wish, quite the contrary.

I'm looking for a strain so low in odor that people in the cannabis world "might" risk growing it without any Odor control at all. Then when I select that one strain, my plan is to build an odor control system that is AT LEAST TWICE what is required for the same size cab with the smelliest weed on the planet just to be safe. I want to build a bomb proof shelter to guard against a BB gun.

You guys just assumed I would grow with no odor control at all. So not true, because when I actually do start my grow I suspect I'll have more odor control than many of you, and nothing in odor control will EVER be compromised in my home. Ever.

This is the internet. If you present the worst, people assume the worst. Did you not gather that by the responses? If you don't want irrelevant responses, you start with what you mean, not hope that someone might understand your subtle intention. I have no issues with a thread talking about low odor strains, but that is not how you put this thread across.

Ugh marijuana is not that important. Why would you even think about this? Sounds pretty dumb to me.
......If you had to bet literally your life, your families life,
Maybe you should be mature enough to get your life in order before you risk your families life and yours ! ...ps you gotta be 18 to be on here!

Again, right on.

I'm new to this but a fairly quick learner. I've read that all NL is not the same with #5 being the lowest odor. The problem here is that some claim to sell NL#5 but it may not be #5 unless I buy it from Nirvana. That's the reason I asked the questions about WHERE they bought the low odor seeds.

On a side note, when I was building my cab, I lined it with some odor control hefty bags, before the Mylar went over the top. This stuff FWIW --> http://www.hefty.com/products/trash-bags/kitchen-trash-bags/odor-block-unscented-drawstring/

Of course and that was my intent, to ask the same thing that's been asked 1000 times but in a way that would not receive the typical response. I have google, I can search for low odor cannibis.

My goal was to identify a strain that the people felt so strongly about that they would risk THEIR OWN family to grow it without odor control. My thinking was if they would risk it with no OC, I would be risking very little if I went overboard on my own odor control.

I would NEVER consider growing without a MORE than adequate fan and a high quality carbon filter. I'm new to growing, but not new at keeping weed on the DL.

I don't think anyone risks any growing without odor control. Just one of those things, it can fuck up your life and career so easily, and it being so easily to counter, that people just buy the on a blocks, ozone gen, or carbon filter.

I hope you don't take my prior posts in a negative way, but well yes, you came across as if you were putting your family at risk because you smoked your dealers stashed and got forced into being a grow bitch :-D nothing wrong with talking about low odor cannabis :-)
