This one's for you my friend (Top 5 authors/poets in my head)

From childhood's hour I have not been
As others were; I have not seen
As others saw; I could not bring
My passions from a common spring.
From the same source I have not taken
My sorrow; I could not awaken
My heart to joy at the same tone;
And all I loved, I loved alone.
Then- in my childhood, in the dawn
Of a most stormy life- was drawn
From every depth of good and ill
The mystery which binds me still:
From the torrent, or the fountain,
From the red cliff of the mountain,
From the sun that round me rolled
In its autumn tint of gold,
From the lightning in the sky
As it passed me flying by,
From the thunder and the storm,
And the cloud that took the form
(When the rest of Heaven was blue)
Of a demon in my view.

this has been my life...even as a child, i wasn't like anyone else i knew, and every piece of good news i've ever heard has just caused me to imagine what could have gone wrong, and to speculate what still might go wrong.
but i have learned that the world persists, that living things somehow find a way to keep on going from day to day, despite the weight of the world and all it's hate and stupidity, many times in spite of the world and it's hate and stupidity...

but at the same time i found Alone, i found The Tyger, by William Blake

Tyger Tyger, burning bright,
In the forests of the night;
What immortal hand or eye,
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?
In what distant deeps or skies.
Burnt the fire of thine eyes?
On what wings dare he aspire?
What the hand, dare seize the fire?
And what shoulder, & what art,
Could twist the sinews of thy heart?
And when thy heart began to beat.
What dread hand? & what dread feet?
What the hammer? what the chain,
In what furnace was thy brain?
What the anvil? what dread grasp.
Dare its deadly terrors clasp?
When the stars threw down their spears
And water'd heaven with their tears:
Did he smile his work to see?
Did he who made the Lamb make thee?
Tyger Tyger burning bright,
In the forests of the night:
What immortal hand or eye,
Dare frame thy fearful symmetry?

this made me wonder about the world, and how we fit in it, about the savage garden and the grand choreography of life and death, and life from death

it is a bleak, bloody world, but there is great beauty in it, if you sit still and look

Small amounts of some drugs temporarily decriminalized in British Columbia amid opioid crisis
Small amounts of certain drugs like heroin, cocaine and meth will be decriminalized in British Columbia starting next year as the province grapples with rising opioid deaths.

Beginning Jan. 23 and going through Jan. 23, 2026, residents in British Columbia who have up to 2.5 grams of opioids, cocaine, methamphetamine or MDMA, also known as ecstasy, will not be arrested or face charges of possession of those drugs, according to the Canadian government.

The exemption is only applicable for British Columbia residents at least 18 years old. Possession of those drugs in certain areas, such as licensed child care facilities and airports, are not covered by the exemption.

Criminal charges are still applicable to those who carry higher amounts of the drugs.

The British Columbia government said in their own press release that police will offer assistance such as referrals for treatment for those who ask for it and provide additional information about social and health support resources.

Officials are hoping the policy change will direct more of those affected by the opioid crisis to get help. The province declared opioid addiction as a public health emergency in 2016.

“Eliminating criminal penalties for those carrying small amounts of illicit drugs for personal use will reduce stigma and harm and provide another tool for British Columbia to end the overdose crisis,” said Carolyn Bennett, the Canadian minister mental health and addictions who approved British Columbia’s move to decriminalize small amounts of the drugs.

The development comes against the backdrop of high opioid deaths in Canada. Data from the government shows that there was a 95 percent increase in opioid deaths in the first year of the pandemic, April 2020 to March 2021, compared to the year prior.

10 feet? what was she thinking?

she wasn't thinking, she was assuming...she thought that since her precious little wuggums piece of shit useless inbred dog loves her, the buffalo would to...she was fucking wrong. if she survives, she might think next time before trying to pet a large animal known for aggressive behavior...or she might go on a "swimming with sharks" vacation...

Legal experts break down Johnny Depp, Amber Heard verdict: Here's what happened (msn.com)

Good for Johnny

Did anyone watch it?

It was actually entertaining, much better than the OJ trial simply because it didn't deal with murder.

She had the worst attorneys I ever heard argue a case, while that female attorney Depp had shredded her on the stand..

Oh well, the tables have turned.

She will never work as an actress again in Hollywood(if she ever was one) while Johnny's career now will come back.

She deserves it, Depp didn't deserve it.

One thing is for sure

I think he's a great actor

and the best work he ever did :)

Amber is a great actress. I totally believed her . Today I realized she tricked me!but really , both of them are fucked up people. Johnny is no saint , that’s for sure. Look who he hangs with… Marilyn Manson the rapist.
Generally speaking many actors are fucked up and have identity issues, with a feeling of no identity and narcissism of course, drug and alcohol issues are also common

Coliseum attendant, Jim?

Johnny Depp is a wife beater and a junkie- he prefers junkie life..it's on tape.

I have no rep for him:finger:

That's him above sliding a Roxy in his mouth.

Alleges? Ellen Barkin is under oath in deposition with penalty of perjury.

I don't know if you saw this, but I've watched it 3 or 4 times & I'll keep on watching it because she hits the nail on the head about the actual moral corruption of the GOP.
She reminds me of JFK & his "ask not what this country can do for you but ask what you can do for this country" speech.
Enough being high-minded in response to the GOP's attacks, claiming that Dem's are pedophiles/Communists or "Woke" .
Yea, we are woke for sure.
At least we don't have are heads stuck up our asses like Trump/McConnell/MTG/Bobert or any of the rest of those motherfucking Republicans,
Take the gloves out & smack the shit out of those lying scumbags.
That's the only way to win in November or 2024.

Still better than Kevin spacey. In the grand scheme of terrible Hollywood people, the bar is pretty low.
