All he needs is a Wrist Rocket and the small Easter eggs filled with gravy. or pancake batter.
I should have handled it differently, but oh well. He gets ice cream and video games if he gets suspended. It is actually kind of an issue/problem where my gut take on stuff is probably not the most prudent decision.

@Jimdamick

I have lots of real strong views on education...and funny stories. I moved to Boston to go grad school and it was really an eye opening experience in terms of social/societal hierarchy. It was quite the experience for a midwest kid.

It was a pretty big ego boost to hold my own in various settings.

Gah, keep going tell funny stories but they sound dumb when I type them.

Edit: a rocket scientist from MIT tried to steal me from my now wife. It was weird.

At least you understand that.

Others would think that was a great idea & give their kids the needed items to accomplish the task.

Just remember that you are they're Sifu, always guide them wisely or they might actually listen.

Boston, eh?

Cool town, right?

At least you're from the mid-west, then I was from NY & had to lie or I would have gotten the shit beat out of me :)

Truth told, I did not like Boston much. Seemed east of the US.

Boston is actually my favorite city in the US, love the place. I really like education and also getting drunk as shit and fighting (lots of non goofy reasons to like it as well). Been considering moving back for the school's and I just seemed to fit in well with me, but 95% sure I am staying put in CO, I work in finance though and bosto. is really the hub for what I do, NY and CHI are close second but nope. Won't move to Chicago since that's like going home, and I picked up that weird fuck NYC thing people from Boston have, though it's arguably the best city in the nation.

Way too many drunken Irishmen for most to take, that's for fucking sure :)

This a cool band from Boston (full of Micks, of course :) )

I was most bothered by the shite gun laws. Some civilians got to carry what the rest could not even own. I hate police-centric gun law with a special passion. Here in CA police get “assault weapon” waivers. Snarl.

I just said I was from Chicago. If you meet anyone that tells you they are from chicago...ask them where. Nobody telling you they are from Chicago is from within hour and a half of the sears tower. We all grew up within 10 minutes of a corn field.

Getting out and seeing what life was like a long way from home was the best thing I ever did.

*if I move back, going to make a pledge to both fight and hug Jim.

I went with my Mom way back, like 1964 on a Gray Hound bus from NY to visit her sisters there.
One lived in the city & the other on a farm just outside of Chicago.
The one in the city brought me to Wrigley Field to see a game & a pigeon shat right on my forehead {only thing I remember about the game)
Also that was the 1st time I tasted Miracle Whip on a American Yellow Cheese sandwich on fucking Wonder Bread, & still to this moment, I gag at the thought of that shit (Hellman's all the way)
But the farm was outstanding.
Uncle Munther (he was German) took me around on his tractor & we went walking the field at dusk & he would pick off crows, in flight, with eye hits every time.
The best marksman I ever knew.
Then I went back like 10 years ago to see the Monet exhibit & see a friend of my wife's.
I wanted to go to a steak house & see if they were as good as they say, & finally asked a street cop (they always know the best) where to go & he said Lowerys.
Went there and had the prime rib though & it was excellent :)

Nice town (a bit chilly in the winter though)

Momentum builds in Senate for major cannabis bill
Senators on both sides of the aisle are throwing support behind a proposal to tuck key marijuana banking legislation into a larger package aimed at boosting U.S. competitiveness, increasing the odds that a significant cannabis bill gets through the upper chamber this year.

Sen. Patty Murray (Wash.), the No. 3 Senate Democrat, is leading a push to pass the SAFE Banking Act, which would enable cannabis firms to use banking services, as part of a sweeping package lawmakers are hashing out in both chambers that is intended to bolster the country’s supply chains and manufacturing.

Found a few items cleaning out a junk drawer. The medal is a Belgian victory angel from WW1. The cap badge is from the British Army. The rimfire cartridge was in my father-in-law's closet when he passed. He was in the merchant marines in WW2. The bullet is .379" and the overall cartridge length is a few hair over 2 3/16".
