Can't find the thread dude. He was growing white rhino if I remember correctly, all under their own light. Big, bushy, beautiful plants grown in diy dwc containers that were vegged for 6 weeks I think. Then there's Heath Robinson and his 74oz off two critical mass plants that he vegged for 6 weeks. Pretty sick shit.

Security doesn't bother me tbh dude.

Plus every time I heard a helecopter i had to look at the time to see if the lamps were on or not...

Needless to say I packed it in and are now growing in remote field in Killkenny..

Im starting to think of a grow tent and LED but have loads of research to do.....

Do you get decent smoke growing outdoors over here dude?

Yeah maybe I'll try to arrange something indoors over the winter period then back out in the summer again and so on...I'd planned on vegging indoors and then flowering in the shed till I get a second shed set up so I'll have the smaller shed for vegging and the bigger one for flowering. I wonder if the heat signature would be that bad if I insulated the sheds well with like 100mm of insulation and then anti detection foil too. Whats the limit in number of plants for the cops these days on personal use?

anyone seriously think the cops are gonna be using helis with flir to catch us small time growers

and personal is a bit of an odd issue, if they find scales baggies, texts in your phone with people looking for weed your fucked

there was a case last year where a guy got busted with 30 with no evidence of selling, he got community service or a suspended sentence

luck of the draw in the end but i wouldnt go over 30. for outdoors go crazy lol

New technology... cops use a helicopter to spot marijuana grow rooms.. This is not F.L.I.R. because FLIR only works good at night. This new technology gives the cops the benefit of spotting grow ops during the daytime.. In America this is against the law, and cops need a warrant to "spy" on your house...

flir works during the day and the warrant rule isnt taken seriously in the us and it its not required here unfortunately

I wouldn't be going anywhere near 30 plants...more like 8 big plants.

id say the gardai barley hav enough €'s to put juice in the heli for emergencies let alone lookin for little grow rooms. lolz
im in a box in the shed, i try to get 3 grows in from march till october.
i tried during winter but itz to cold, got to -7 last december.

Fcuk me lads, i popped a barneys blue cheese and another one of my barneys flower power autosin the usual tissue and ziplockbag but this time i said i would put them in the hot press, done this tuesday night and just checked on them there and the cheese has a root over an inch already (flower is about 1/2 inch) in 2 days. Thats not usual for 2 days is it. wasnt planning on putting them in soil till saturday but now i might have to do them tomorrow. Anyone any ideas how long i could leave them in the paper towel for, have to get more all mix and wasnt planning on getting it till saturday morning.

Stickey you should try the autos during the cold months, leave your lights on for 20hrs, i got away with it this year with my barneys autos, they love loads of light, even if you can leave the lights on for 23 hours they would love it.

Ahh if you know the grower you'll get Haze, but commercial scum-bag/Asian growers aint gonna grow the Haze, they all grow Big Bud, Hash Plant, commercial strains cos you get big huge yields in little flower time. Apparently the AK's are popular for this too. Unless they dont understand the whole efficiency thing.

And FLIR does work during the day, visible light doesnt effect IR to any great extent, you never seen any of those cops programmes? During the day they flick the FLIR to a negative image.

alrite guys im new here and new to the grow scene....great site, loads of info! i've started growing coz theres nothing but shite about....apart from the blondie pollen that i got at the moment, but its anywhere between €200-240 an oz. anyways, good luck wit your grows and see you around............

Buy Jorge Cervante's book, its a GREAT start. Use this site then to fill in the gaps. Thats my advice to all new growers.
