as far as i know, the only scandal about Nelson was that he died in the saddle....of the wrong mount. he had a heart attack while cheating on his wife....not an honorable act, but compared to trump....he was a fucking saint....and i'll bet he never would have kissed vladimir putin's ass.....publicly or privately.....

The one problem with that idea is that the Senate will not impeach him no matter what. The Republican party is morally bankrupt.

They will act out their own self interest not the country's and it's gonna get to the point soon where they will have to act out of self preservation. This latest Cohen thing is an open invitation from Mueller for the democrats to call Cohen before a house committee to "correct the record" after January. Faced with a mountain of evidence and a dozen airtight criminal cases where Trump is an un-indicted co-conspirator they might just find the votes to do Donald before 2020, the sooner the better for their sake.
 
The GOP numbers will go up dramatically over the next couple years as the courts do their job, I also suspect some democrats will also be jailed.
