Yes, you probably are. And you can thank the Bush tax cuts that are still in place for your 2009 tax return and are SOLELY responsible for the lower taxes you are enjoying. The current administration has NOTHING to do with it and will soon be kicking you in the balls, most likely retroactively.

I'm sorry, did you do my taxes this year? I'm getting more money back this year for reasons other than this. The only retroactive thing they did was not tax the first $2,400 dollars of my unemployment. This is perfect example of someone speaking who does not know what the fuck they are talking about, even in the slightest.

I love how tossing out our first ever trillion dollar deficit (oh by the way, we will have trillion dollar deficits until 2012 thanks to this economic plan) is being seen as a 'saving grace' to our economy. Sure it might fix the 'now' because we can always just print more money, but this is only going to come back and bite us in the ass in the future... then again, politicians are only concerned with 4/6 year increments....

Let us not forget where most of this deficit came from. Eight years of an unnecessary war in Iraq combined with republicans that were unable to control their spending. Sweetheart contracts, backroom deals, corporate subsidies, tax cuts for the super rich, and irresponsible behavior put us in the position we are now. And now they have the balls to be blaming this stuff on the Dems and Obama?? :finger::finger::finger:

The "new-right" is nothing but a bunch of liers and obstructionists.

Bush's largest deficit came towards the end of his 8 years. 454 billion dollars in 2008. While this is a large number, Obama's are in the 3 trillions now (they were above 1 trillion this past year) and they are set to be above that number through 2012 and will continue being higher than any other deficit from the past until 2020. Over one decade, he is set to increase the debt from his deficits by 8 trillion dollars That's how far reaching these policies are.

We'll see about that. If Bush only ran a $454 billion dollar tab in 2008 (remember, the crisis seemed to accelerate around October), then a year of crisis for only 1 trillion or so is a bargain. Some decent economists on both sides would say he should have spent more to get us out of this mess. My guess is that like Clinton, he will leave us with a surplus, which is more than you can say for administrations that fund two wars on our kids' tab.

By the way, I am none too fond of either party and feel the economy works almost 100% independently of who is in office. But facts are facts, Bush spent recklessly and Obama will likely not do the same, if he wants to be re-elected. I might wager he does

He already has done the same... and about 8x worse, spending-wise. 1 Trillion last year, 3+ trillion this year, and 3+ trillion through 2012 is already set. As I mentioned his 500+ billion deficits will continue through 2020...
I'm not saying Bush > Obama, I'm just pointing out how in my opinion, based on the numbers, Obama is trading the future for the now.
 
Bush didn't do any spending in 08 or in 07, the democrat congress did it. And Obama voted FOR every single spending bill.

Just watch while the desperateness of the people when were all begging for a way out of the debt, starvation and no elec... all of a sudden there will be a new currency that will give you 50x the value than the dollar can! and guess what everybodys gonna do? there going to invest into the 1 world currency... game over from there everybody. I would like to imagine that all politicians are working for the people but instead its a handful, we should seek out that few and back them up...
