TGA Subcool Vortex Questions!!!

I've grown all my TGA gear in coco and usually under a fair amount of stress(ie; high heat in the summers) and out of dozens of plants only one Querkle popped some late nanners that resulted in few immature seeds. That's it. A lot of these reports of hermies with TGA have to be grower error. By all means not all of them, but definitely some.

You can't just call bullshit then qualify it with an "if" statement, I have run hydro for years. They have little quirks all the time, not all of which are caught. To negate the fact that it is a more complicated system and requires constant diligence and you can't further assume that hydro growers are always in complete command. That is just simply not true, and with all due respect transplanting doesn't apply to hydro. I don't mean to be all up in your guts but I stand by the statement that there is a higher chance of error in hydro and that is not just an unfounded opinion.

One last thing, being root bound is a form of stress, no matter how you fail to see.

Sorry man, your dropping some inconsistencies with facts here.
 
Most hydro guys I know are pretty well dialed in (at least to the point where they aren't killing shit blatantly, maybe not the point where the plant is at it's sweet spot, but any strain that goes hermie without being at it's sweet spot is definitely not an easy one to grow and is going to get tossed from most people's gardens quickly). And I've never attributed root stress to herms, although perhaps. I mostly always attributed to root bound = slower growth. I guess it would be stressful though. Another variable to consider.

stable, shmable! TGA has some elite clones and hand selected crosses that he uses that are high quality! the opposite of stabilized, BTW , is hybrid vigor. i'd rather smoke that than a watered down bottlenecked strain. so far, the 5 pack of jack's cleaner 2 i bought is THE best named strain i've ever smoked back to real cali-grown columbian gold (misnamed thai for brand recognition, but easy to find out with the internet & verification from a cali resident that was smoking the same back in the day).

i will feel much more confident about trying another TGA strain in the future as the only bud i've blazed of his so far is right outta the ballpark awesome. maybe sannies' jack f7 is even better. i'm ALWAYS looking for the best indoor highs. anyone that'd call TGA schwag is likely a hater with an agenda.

if you want a stabilized strain, back cross a hybrid and then you can even select for the phenos you like best. a strain with hybrid vigor gets a free boost in potency just like jessica alba is hot.
 
My second grow ever... The first one was bag seed with some home depot soil some hydro nutes and crappy equipment ( ph drops, sink water, light leaks), not to mention I had to chop it early cause it was " discovered". Now the vortex..... Roots organic soil, a ph pen and RO water ( along with some other supplements ) and it's looking incredible. I'm totally impressed by vortex and I haven't even smoked it. I'm an inexperienced grower but a very experienced smoker, I'll do a harvest report when it's done.

Dont have many pics but here they are at about 4.5 weeks I believe

Man!!! I had such high hopes when I found this thread!

Having just popped some Vortex seeds, a was really looking forward to reading 9 pages of discussion about the strain! Instead I got one page of discussion and 8 pages of bickering (and a little bit of dick measuring)... Awesome.

No, I have the issue. On the first page of the strain report the fan leaf on the mid right mysteriously has bud overlapping it and then all of a sudden the leaf continues on... issue 107. I don't have a picture currently and it's sort of a PITA to take one and I don't care that much, but it is somewhat funny.
 
I just don't get people sometimes... Does it REALLY make them feel better getting praise for something they know they faked?

What about all the photo shopped sluts out there? they do it for cash bra, when you can fool people into thinking something is better than it is I think that is the key here.

People in general lack skepticism. Wishing things were true. How many times do we see posters quoting yields from seedbanks which we know are exaggerated?

Shit just look up thread at the people wishing for something to be true, which doesn't even exist! They must be convincing themselves it's true, but to not have doubts borders on the line of gullibility.
