Thanks for testing out the induction lights bro, I have been bouncing back and forth between buying more LED's or adding some Induction to the tent. Very helpful journal, plants are looking beautiful despite the minor Cal-mag issues. Excellent information all around! +rep
Thanks for the rep bro...............I'll try to finish this grow with at least something to show :P

Hell yes man there looking nice can`t wait to see how they start looking in a week or 2 when they start getting fat and frosty !
Hopefully........fingers crossed.............good to see you back

Just like the ex P! ROFL (Sorry man, you know I can't help that shit :-P)

How's the ladies btw? Those pix make the leaves look really weird for some reason. Hope it isn't fungus. Is NL susceptible to that or not?

One day we're gonna have normal grow-rooms. God, what the eff will we do then? LOL
My ex a'int fat, shes's just a bitch!lol..........yeah its some def that's showing on the old fan leaves(not fungal IMO), but hasn't spread to the new growth, so i think they finally self-corrected with the uprising top dress from weeks ago, shit takes time!!:) all the issues now are heat related==burnt tops/tacoing/etc... I'm starting to get tired of this sealed room/no ac crap, but moving right now is not an affordable situation. Anyways June will not be fun for the girls, and my yields will suffer as usual.

they way the reds led shine through in the sky shots. it reminds me of those low lit old mexican restaurants in the 80's
LOL...............so true.

61 days since germination under the indagro par 100/led pontoon system(117watts): sensi seeds NL bitches

002.jpg003.jpg004.jpg005.jpg006.jpg As you can see nothing but heat related stress from days of 95+ temps and flowering has been slow. Most of the center buds are all showing this tacoing and burnt tips and none on the outer area, so pretty easy guess here. My light schedule is completely run during the night and still I have problems with 80+ outdoor temps, I overestimated my max wattage for the sealed room to be 130w! bummer. Anyways I can't do anything about it and will just try to finish this off. I will keep the panel at further distances than I would like, but it will allow the wall fan to more effectively "cool" them.

001.jpg008.jpg007.jpg009.jpg <<<Supercropped some of the fly-ways and will do the rest soon...31 days of "flower", fifth day of 13/11 and will lower it down completely to 12/12 tomorrow. They are really worrying me on their slow progression which is mainly heat related. They have 38days!! till chop=== beach time:)

be safe and happy growing RIU

Taco taco leaves ayaya a/c or block of ice or something. Hydro innovations has heat exchangers for a small room. But pricey. Pretty much like a swamp cooler. Maybe line up some frozen 2 liters along the walls. Point the fan at them. R/h will go up. You would have to swap out 2 liters every few hours but it will work.

I've been thinking about using dry ice. I don't know how much CO2 in PPM that works out to be, but since it's solid CO2, I imagine a lot. AND it would bring down temps at the same time.

Psu I don`t want to get your hopes up but I think it`s safe to say when these girls go into your lungs you're going to get pretty fucking baked.....

So I read somewhere that using red/blue leds you can grow using 90% less water if you know what your doing ? That`s something I`d never even considered that all that heat from the hps`s and even the sun means you need to water more.

Ya do not take this as a knock on inda's but my plants transpire more under the inda's. Like I said not necesarrily a bad thing because the inda-gro seemingly makes its own environment while with my LED's I do use less water but I have to heat my room sometimes and supply humidity. Just my opinion on the matter since I have now used IG, LED, and IG+LED and I gotta say the duo produced some gnarly buds, too bad I had a confused girl this run, reg seeds only for the next! Starting some jack cheddars I got as freebies from attitude.
Been awhile since I stopped by, everything seems on point though so keep it green man! Oh and idk how I never noticed it but where did you get that BA ppm, temp RH meter at? been looking for something like that for a while and only thing i find for co2 are those syringe kits or $200+ meters and I just do not need to know that bad lol.

I guess i fail to see where my plant not trying to cool itself (if i am not mistaken transpiration is a plant essentially sweating to make fpr more ideal conditions) iz lost growth, if anything i think the opposite. that if the plant does not spend energy pulling moisture in through the roots and expelling it through stomata as a cooling mechanism instead of usinv that water for photosynethsis then i am making them more efficient. could be wrong though, if I am could ya explain where i went wrong please?

It would make the plant work to cool itself, requiring water - and nutes to power it, I would say it'd enhance growth.

transpiration rate is directly tied to growth rate...it is like metabolism...faster transpiration equate faster growth...BUT you must have all things supportive of this increase or it will pass its ability and shut down...

if it is increasing transpiration it is increasing growth and photo'ing...movement of water and nutes for cooling and photoing..it is the same occurring simultaneously...no separate system for each...the faster rate translates to more photoing which is more food to feed growth...

Idk enough about transpiration to say otherwise just went with the basic assumptiin that less water used outside of photosynthesis the better. i still have a lot of learning to do, working on getting a good grasp on phytochromes and their different effects right now so this will have to come later.

too much work...........just keeping the induction bulb further away and praying:P............thanks for the help brother, and a swamp cooler won't do anything in these high RH conditions.

Yes huge CO2 levels but expensive and a hassle..........thanks friend..........will see what the girls can tolerate

oh they are drinking lots of water in these temps, under the Hans panel it was less frequent due to the lower wattage(1/2)........thanks for the kind words

My co2 meter is discontinued and I got it a great price......but this one has a ten year sensor and is only $50 more http://www.amazon.com/Indoor-Air-Quality-Meter-Temperature/dp/B001PDGFR8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1369941324&sr=8-1&keywords=co2+meter puffenuff has it in his grow room.....ask him how he likes it.

exactly^^^..........but transpiration continues even without light(photoing) in very high temps.......

004.jpg003.jpg005.jpg006.jpg007.jpg010.jpg011.jpg The center buds got a good toasting and the effects are evident, the outer main stalks are way behind ^^ in flower development probably won't be ready by chop; sucks:( checked the lower growth and ten days of 65+RH has allowed some minor PM to show!!. I've done a heavy defolation of all large fan leaves that showed any necrosis and fungal issues and some area that I deemed fungal prone as well. Good soak of diluted neem oil was also sprayed on the girls, hate doing this so far into flower but i have no other choice. I definitely have a good fight in front of me this coming month.

001.jpg002.jpg008.jpg 36th day of "flower"..... 6days of 12/12 and we are looking at 100+ temp(day) in this room for the next few days.

be safe and happy growing RIU

Well keep fighting the good fight man, as far as rh problems you tried a fan in there more towards the ceiling to circulate some of the hot air that is up higher? not sure what exhaust you have if any but I found this helped me when I was hitting 80% and was told a dehumidifier was not an option.

Don't worry. NL does all its bulking in the last 2-3 weeks. Mine are at day 37 today. They are a liittle bigger that yours. And still have 33 days left.. I accidently broke a branch. Or maybe its subconscience since I don't have anything to smoke not even shake.....

They are looking happier than last update.

Edit:

Those Velcro ties rock. So easy to adjust. All the rings are in the storage closet now.

I hope you didnt cut too many fan leaves, they are not responsible for the PM and it only stress the plant... if you wash it off the leaf, the leaf is as good as new, the problem is in the plant! (as you know :eyesmoke:) Spray diluted lemon water twice a day on the fan leaves ... I like the lemon water I dont care if some goes on my buds. I have not had PM since last summer, fingers crossed for this year! Good luck amigo

Gs I stopped lemon water and went back to neem. But I barely add any neem to spray bottle. Just a drop or 2. Lemon water stopped working after so long. Maybe it was the lemon juice. I don't know. I only spray a particular area that has pm. I don't drench the plant not even close. . In veg I drench them with kelp and aloe every few days.

If you know it always hit the plants in the same area of the grow room, it simply means you need to improve air flow !! EASY !! much easier than mixing sprays every few days :eyesmoke:

i only have to spray once every couple weeks. only on master and soma rock bud. my other strains never have pm. i bring in outside air. but socal weather is irradic. yesterday it was in the 70's today it was in the 90's its supposed to get hotter. then it will rain then be cool out. temp and r/h fluctuate drastically outside. but I have been running a/c though.

Someone give me a refresher here...........what's more effective on PM, acidic(lemon) or alkaline (milk)???????

@ greensanta, thanks again for the great idea of using velcro ties/ fabric pots! fucking love it........my defoliation was for increased air circulation around the affected area(center), and most of the removed leaves had serious necrosis.....don't worry, I hate removing leaves too:P

not sure about milk or lemon, but I d rather have lemon on my buds :eyesmoke: look up horsetail tea in the subcool organic supersoil section. That seems to be the way to go. That's what Ill do if I have problems again.
