reviews don't mean anything. Most sellers don't complete the purchase through the system so you don't get the option to leave feedback..Strainly gets no commission. So the can make and except fake sells to create there own feedback..Most are legit.STAY AWAY FROM SHONOBI CUTS he is a scammer

reviews 100% matter. There are reputable sellers on there with 100’s of reviews. Yes I’m aware reviews could potentially be faked but not 100’s and it’s easy to tell which ones could potentially be fake. I would not buy from someone with no or very little reviews. But I’m not saying reviews=legit seller it’s just something obvious to look for

the hype is now we can ship clones across the country instead of popping countless amounts of seeds to find that one pheno. Scammers yes I’m a victim myself but it’s all about the final product they were advertising. I would definitely stay away from PNWStrainHunter. He sold me a candy rain that I assumed was from yourhighnessla. Boy was I wrong. After I called him out he said he got it from some glip glop. He advertises it now to be glip glops cut. I totally wouldn’t of bought it if I had know that. So definitely ask a lot of questions

I don't get all the hype about strainly, instagram, etc... What's the big deal? Guys selling reproductions of strains they got from legitimate seed banks or questionable pollen chucks? It's a haven for scammers.
Scammers yes. I’ve found a few but there are also a lot of legit guys. Tomstein510 & Savage Gardens are the two most I trust and will definitely replace anything lost or anything that didn’t make it due to the weather

If someone has enough time and patience its completely possible and even likely to have 100s of fake reviews. Im sorry but your metrics of finding reputable sellers is heavily flawed.

While a different website the same holds true. Look at the blurple reviews on Amazon. They make the lights sound like you're about to grow pounds with a 100W light. Most of the reviews are fake.

I don't have a clue who yourhignessla or glip glop is and I don't care. Getting decent genetics from reputable vendors is not hard. I'll stick with that. There is nothing special on strainly.

But it's your money. If you want to buy from that site it's your choice. And fortunately we have choices. I chose to buy proven genetics from reputable establishments.

I likely won't ever buy anything again as I went on a binge and spent a few thousand dollars a while back. Much of which I regret purchasing. Not because the genetics are bad but because it's not the direction I want to take with my growing. I'm not into all the crazy named polyhybrid strains being cranked out daily. I don't chase that hype. As good as people claim this or that strain is there's always something just as good or better.

you are comparing Strainly to Amazon? Lol dude companies send their blurples to customers for free in exchange for Amazon reviews this is not the same at all. Someone would have to go through extreme lengths to create 100’s of fake reviews on strainly and it’s not happening. Please tell me someone’s strainly with 100’s of fake reviews I’m waiting. Like I’ve said previously reviews does not mean they are a reputable seller but reviews always matter when you are buying anything

No I'm not comparing the two. I've never even been to that site until the other day when this thread came up.

So you're saying Amazon blurple reviews matter?

I'm saying fake reviews happen. Everywhere.

Reviews on products do matter or reviews wouldn’t even exist especially on a site like strainly and the things that are sold. Yes there are fake reviews but there are also REAL reviews that can tell a lot about a seller.

100% agree with this. I get that the younger generation has been programmed into wanting these FOTM "fire cuts" and they go on instagram and see guys who aren't even real breeders, just pollen chuckers with "elite" clones they probably bought on strainly charging $130 per pack when they probably can't even figure out how to pick a decent male. "Some of these seeds will be fire" "you'll probably get one fire cut per pack!" "guys guys, so and so is having another drop on the 10th, don't miss it!!"....fellas, pollen chucking is fun, the thread here is a great example of people having fun doing what they love, but don't confuse it with actual cannabis breeding, which is a rarity nowadays. Strainly is just an open marketplace for stolen genetics, people profiting off the hard work of others down the line. What I LOVE to see are the collaborations between guys like Karma and Topdawg-there isn't a law against stealing genetics, you can't patent a strain, but FFS have some decency and live by a code of honor-I'd just like to see more collaborations between top BREEDERS who don't steal from each other. Just because Neville travelled the world stealing strains from every place he visited and set that as the standard practice for generations doesn't mean it's right or that it should continue. That said, I know a few excellent breeders from this forum who sometimes sell clones on strainly and they actually have some unique phenos that they just want to share with the world and make a little pocket $-I have no issue with that, hell I wouldn't mind trying some of their cuts...it is so much more honest than taking those cuts and using them + instagram to become the next hype "breeder" aka, chucker.

Anybody ever use strainly to find strains?

You can not buy clones from a Canadian vendor and have it shipped to USA. Correct? I am sure I know the answer, but I bet some of you have tried it.
