There inbred but ideally they would be made using enough numbers so that it keeps the line healthy this is why landrace though heavily inbred can still have vigour it's been maintained with huge numbers so you ain't losing genes every round breeding/preservation really is a numbers game to do it rightOk interesting. Are IBL strains only inbred to a certain degree then? I thought in bred lines the point is you get the same pheno almost if not every bean you pop. Not to hijack but its on topic. Im not normally into breeding but a little info here and there is fun. I know its somewhat complex.
At most I may make my own seeds with a male/female to keep a strain as they can run out at the seed bank or stop making it. Maybe one day Il make a simple cross for fun.
