My auto has seeded

A week or so ago I took the upper buds as they were ready. I left the lower ones to finish off.
Now the lower ones have seeded. I harvested this way on 3 previous plants of this strain, auto chocolate cream with no problem.
I have a similar aged girl of the same strain in the room and 2 younger autos of a different strain.
No sign of any male bits and I've never had a male in there so no residue pollen.
Can cutting the higher buds have caused this?
Will the seeds be any good,,?
I'm a novice grower.

Cutting the top probably had nothing to do with. I have had branches break off plenty of times without any herming.
The seeds will be fems and will grow if you allow them to fully mature on the plant. I am growing a bagseed from some dispensary stuff right now that has shown no signs of herming so far. At day 60 or so of flower.. but there is that risk

Ok. I will leave the seeds to mature, then separate them from the rest of the buds. I've grown regular plants outside on guerilla grows which seeded and the smoke was fine. Looks like it's just one of them things. Thanks for the info.

The majority of my life there were seeds to remove. Its not going to make the product any less potent

40 years ago in London, weed with seeds and other bits was called bush, without seeds was called sensi. All imported in them days. Never knew of people growing it here. Very limited. Now I think most weed grown here. Some comes up from Spain.
