Hey, if you get light warrior, just mix it half and half with Fox Farm and your plants will be good to go :). No burning, and you still get some benefit of the Fox Farm without wasting the soil.

The MG Organic plants will stay in that soil the whole grow...but I also amended the soil with Happy Frog Organic Fertilizer for tomatoes and vegetables with beneficial microbes 7-4-5, then added a little worm casting and azomite. That way if I'm slacking on the watering mix (last grow I ended up under ferting at times due to fear of nute burn), the plants have something to help them out :).

Sup Ajax, yo im there with you, feel my lady is slightly stunted too! She's growing, but slow it seems. Germing my Heavyweight Green Ninja to see if she can pass her up! Still keeping both, and probably taking clones from both too! Cant wait! Cause thats exactly what we need to do, be patient! Pop another seed man, a good one, your ri hh t the genetics should be a bit better. Youll see the significant difference once you pop a new one. Just stick it in a wet paper towel, nice cozy spot, (I use my pajama drawer haha) then when taproot is a few cm long, plant it straight into a small container! pop it under some lights and watch her grow! And remember what everyone keeps sayin, dont touch em! Its not only the germs but the physival stress on such a fragile organism!

Both of my seeds have popped within 24 hours Flaming, so just knock a day off the days i posted, id say they are still stunted though. I did mess with them, but the only way to learn all this is to make these mistakes and ive become way more relaxed with my girls. Ive also found a few flaws in my box, the sterilite box will work but LST will be rather hard since im working from the top only, also the lighting not being able to be raise and lower sucks, although I have a fix for that im going to implement. Its a good system to learn on, but i honestly cant waiiiiit until I get in to my cab.

Yeah ive been stacking old college books and stuff i dont use anymore, then put a towel over them (to soak up the drainage from the bottom of the pots), been working good. Flaming what do you recommend as a good soilless medium to drop the seeds in to once they pop?

You're absolutely right Ajax...mistakes help you learn! People can only tell you so much and you can only read so much...some knowledge has to be obtained by the doing! Now you'll be extra wary with the next batch :). I hope you get your cab soon as well too...how long til then?

promix has worked good with all my seeds. I have germinated 5 seeds in it. two cannabis and 3 snow peas.

I use the homedepot promix. $14 for 4 cubic ft.

the foxfarm light warrior is 19.99 for 1 cubic foot where I live. It has mycorizzae in it, but you can buy mycorizzae seperate.

get yourself a drip pan instead of the towel. That way you can empty the extra water when the pots stop draining. you don't want mold to start growing.

All the stuff in the center is removable, its a good size. I just need to figure out if im going to stay with cfls on it or get like a 250hps and mh bulb and ballast.

Pictures of the girls in a second, they are looking great today, been giving them 1 ml of diluted Big Bloom nuted distilled water with every feeding.

Its not a standard towel, its a towel i have from my place of work, it wont allow mold. And i use a new one after every feeding so it doesnt stay in there.

Yeah my ffof drains it well, when I water it i take them in to my bathroom and water over the sink and dont take them back until it really is done dripping. The towels there are just so the wet bottomside of the pots dont ruin the covers of my books lol.

Heres some pictures.

My 2nd girl (the one in the solo cup) is 4-5 days younger then the first girl and is already caught up to her.

They are looking better ajax...and that cab looks like it's going to be a beast. I would say 250 hps personally, if you're taking votes :-P. If you can afford it, it's definitely much better than CFLs. You can probably start giving quarter strength of grow big now every other watering considering the age of the plants....
