lol wtf...............
oh now i get itLol, wish I read that last pussy about 2 days ago, luckily, she didn't uproot. Dumbass lol, I meant to do a ring around her, or at least pour a little slower. O well, live n learn haha. Holy shit... I just had an epihany, if its invented, link it,.if not, I want royalties! Check it out, a water spout, you can attach to gallon jugs! Fuckin a, im searching now, if not, loan time lol.
good lets wait and see how it doesYeah i stopped misting, only did it then because it was easier that way to get the surrounding areas wet. Today i watered the hole pot until i got some good run off below the pots then stopped.
ok cool will be looking for themNo changes today, no nute burn or anything, touched the surrounding dirt of the plants to feel for moistness, the ffof doesnt really stay moist feeling but since the rapid rooter is in there its holding moisture well so they wont need another watering yet. I noticed that the first set of leaves on my second seedling thats in the solo cup are pointing down in angle now, dunno if this means anything but they are still green so ill just keep watching her. Pictures after work!
If they have a little droop it could be that they just got a little bit too much water, but they'll probably perk right back up in a day or two.No changes today, no nute burn or anything, touched the surrounding dirt of the plants to feel for moistness, the ffof doesnt really stay moist feeling but since the rapid rooter is in there its holding moisture well so they wont need another watering yet. I started germing the first girl on the 23rd, so overall shes 11 days old, is she a good size for 11 days or should she be bigger? Second girl is around 7 days.
i just germ my seed then straight to soilYou know, I honestly started thinking the rapid rooter is stunting the plant, I read somewhere where someone thought the rooter itself would be hard for the tiny plant to grow through, it is a rather rough medium just from myself trying to tear one, thoughts on removing the plant from it and planting it straight in to the ffof? when the rooter is wet its really easy to gently tear it.
Also, what soil do you start your plants in? Im told ffof isnt good to start a seed in due to the heavy nutes it has in it.
I'm not sure about the rapid roots...I use paper towels, rockwool, or straight into soil. You know, I honestly started thinking the rapid rooter is stunting the plant, I read somewhere where someone thought the rooter itself would be hard for the tiny plant to grow through, it is a rather rough medium just from myself trying to tear one, thoughts on removing the plant from it and planting it straight in to the ffof? when the rooter is wet its really easy to gently tear it.

Light warrior should be good, but keep in mind that you are def going to want to get those nutes to them around 2 - 3 days after sprouting. Make sure the soil has perlite in it...never used Light Warrior so not sure of it's composition but it might already have perlite in it.Starting next week ill be working on my cab that I had bought when i bought the sterilite bins. On that grow ill be doing one of my bubblicious seeds i bought online and ill be starting probably in ff light warrior, light warrior doesnt have any nutes in it and i can grab a big bag for like 10$ at my local hydro shop, that would work great for dropping a seed in and starting that way right?
Just noticed the humidity in my box is only around 25-30%, any inexpensive way to raise this?
Also, if they are stunted now, does that mean they will ALWAYS grow slower or will they eventually speed up?
I was gonna mention that his looked way too small but you beat me to the punch. I already assumed they would be stunted. So much movement and stress. Its only the first run so its bound to happen with nervous nelly. They are looking rather small to be honest. I had worried they would stunt.
That happened to my plants not too long ago...that's why I started them in soil with low dose ferts starting from a couple days above soil. This is sort of what the plants should be looking like around 11 days:

And 7 days...

You babies are stunted! Things are going to take longer, but you'll be able to recover them if you are patient. It's much easier to start plants from soil and in their permanent container when you're first growing. The good news is that these are only bagseed, and are intended for you to learn. I actually learned this same exact way, and prevented from stunting the good genetics. They'll always be behind though, and they are smaller when they reach maturity. Just need to reevaluate your approach, handle your plants less, and you'll get them to grow more efficiently. I know you have FAB to help you out, but I'll be here for some advice and encouragement every once in a while too if you want!
