Sterilite Storage Bin Stealth Grow, first time grower.

Heres some pics of the transplant.
I used non latex sterile gloves, 1 because im mixing dirt, perilite and lime and have a few cuts on my hand from work (dat infection) and 2 because I dont want to contaminate any of the soil or the rooter itself.
Check out those roots! I also did the same with the second girl in to a solo cup though (need to buy another 1 gallon container).
I lightly misted the rooter and the soil around the rooter, i didnt fully water because the lights are going off in an hour and 40 minutes so i dont want them sitting in cold wet soil all night, so I will water tem in the morning when I wake up before i head to work. Or will it not matter about it being freshly wet during the lights off and should I water them now?
Also, tomorrow I will be adding the 4" fan ive got to blow air on them. Ill also be adding a c02 gallon bottle soon for the added c02.

Its moist around the area of the rooter, which I think will get it through the night, i also misted the rooters themselves before putting them in the soil, then misted the surrounding soil a bit. Im thinking between now and 9 hours from now the plant wont completely dry out and get to a point of no recovery from lack of water since its been misted, those rooters hold a good amount of moisture, however, im curious to see how long it will take for them to break down in the ffof.
Added a small capfull of distilled water to the area, will be the last bit, will water fully tomorrow once its dried out. I read where its good to let them dry out because when it gets more dry in the area the roots will spread looking for water.

Why are you worrying about it getting taller, that is the normal rate of growth you are seeing in the leaves.

Water when it's dry and stop misting! Misting encourages foliage growth over root growth which is something you don't want this early in the plant's life. Also you shouldn't get into the habit of foliar feeding anyway. If you use it with synthetic fertilizer you will leave salts on the leaves, and you never want to mist while you have any sort of buds developing like you would during flowering. Also you need to get the roots time to breathe and like you said when they're dry they search deeper for more water.
When transplanting water the pot you're moving to throughly, but DO NOT water the container you're transplanting from. This will encourage the roots to search the new pot for moisture because it is wet while it's current medium is dry. And before you think about checking the roots to see how far it's gone into the soil, don't. If you feel the need to transplant wait at least a month after each. If you don't feel the entire pot being pulled up you don't need a transplant.
Just water the pot evenly, in 4-5 weeks start adding fertilizer(FFOF has plenty for the first 3 weeks) and once you get your 5th set or set of leaves you can use all the lights you have.
Btw what's the difference between rapid roots and peat pellets?

@ Cloudz - im not 100% sure but I think they are along the same lines. I didnt mist the plant leaves, I suppose I should have said I misted the soil around where the rapid rooter was going in to , i had read in different places you should do that a little bit just so if there are any roots sticking out (there was) they have something moist to grab on to, better over then having it dry in that area. Ive never sprayed the foliage with direct water.

Im a first time grower for any plant, not just MJ, so all of this is very new to me so ofc im going to make mistakes and learn for myself what is wrong or right, that is after all why im doing this on Bagseed and not the seeds I purchased. Dont expect me to listen to everything you say as if its the word of some deity and I need to follow them. I posted im not worried about the height, it was a curiosity at best as to why it hasnt grown taller. Ajax, yo homie, no disrespect, but i think a lot of the guys are just trying to tell you have patience young padawan! I'm the same as you, I stare at my plants and yell 'GROWWW DAMMIT!" then run and post asking wtf is wrong. usually i get a response such as "yo hc, its only been 30mins homie, your too blown!". Weed is an amazing plant, and actually takes very little science to grow, despite what some may say. We add all this science to get a "Sensi" weed, or at least the most potent we can. The bitch will grow with very little care, and can take so much abuse its sickening. It's sometimes hard to just sit back and enjoy the grow, especially on a first grow, but i've learned i fuck more shit up trying to "save" my plants than i would if i just chilled ha. just some advice!

I know, i think he forgets though its a first grow for me for any plant, so obv im going to make mistakes and ask questions about every little thing I see, thats apart of learning this trade and I get that. I welcome the constructive criticism and the help from anyone, what I dont welcome are uselss posts about my age and telling me im worrying about height etc etc when ive posted im not, it was a simple question.
Im also trying to see the extent of the abuse these things can take on my second plant, which is why i sprouted a second one, to mess around and test things with it, and i posted thats what im doing with it. My first lady has been left alone since day 2 and were on day 9 now for her, shes doing great.

Thats good to hear! personally, the only experimenting i do is to try for the most yields! We know that generally stressing the plant can increase those yields, but over stressing can dramatically reduce them! Good enuf for me! lol

dont worry i got this and will continue to advise him and and receive endless emails haha but i dont mind ajjax and told u that
if u guys dont have the patience and understanding that a first time grower will have a thirst for knowledge and lots of ? because of their excitement over this new hobby
then maybe u should leave him be and find someone that doesnt have any ?
And you cant blame the guy for concern when he has got conflicting advice and i had to pm to tell him to ignore it

it looks like a diy filter from a car aircleaner

Yes sir, just filled it up with some assorted carbon, slipped a screen so it doesnt fall out, and hooked it to a booster fan, I think 160cfm?? Not exactly sure actually, trying to remember from my last grow. Either way, havnt truly tried it other than blowing a bong rip in it haha, worked beautifully. will know soon enough tho!

stop watering with just a mister and give it a decent amount of water till it runs out bottom
like a cup of water but dont water right were seedling is so it dont uproot it

Lol, wish I read that last post about 2 days ago, luckily, she didn't uproot. Dumbass lol, I meant to do a ring around her, or at least pour a little slower. O well, live n learn haha. Holy shit... I just had an epihany, if its invented, link it,.if not, I want royalties! Check it out, a water spout, you can attach to gallon jugs! Fuckin a, im searching now, if not, loan time lol.
