Although the topic ended with jokes, I am glad that there were those who were able to express a tougher position on this difficult issue, as many like to say. I only hope that all these political games will have less of an impact on ordinary citizens in the future. But something tells me that we are rolling into some kind of hell, and it would be nice to find a person who will pull the cord to get out of the matrix :(

We live in a Hell engineered by rogue clergy, emboldened by an entire political party deciding together that honest voting is for useless pussies, or (whispered) socialists.

The treatment is simple: stop funding or voting the overthrow party.

While I am grateful that Cheney has decided to break with the party for her shining moment at the wheel of the great ship, she is still the daughter of the man who brought torture to Gitmo. Perhaps Kamala can devote her political capital to ending Gitmo, a place that stands in the way of our being a civilized nation.

(sigh) I might as well ask that the school system be fixed, so that people would know without being told not to elect a Greene, or a Manchin. Or anyone making hay of grievances older than the civil war.
