So to be clear- the 2 above pics are the same strain as I'm doing now, basically at the same period as now in flowering, but 2 years ago. The point of all this was to show what was going on at 3 weeks in flowering, which will be this coming Monday. I remembered I did a late defoliation at week 3 and was worried I removed TOO much at that late period. WRONG. The plants reacted great, thet again bounced back quickly. I've been removing handfuls of leaves daily right now, as I notice bud spots under leaves blocking the light.

I will show a pic at lights on (11AM) this morning as a full circle comparison of the current room........coming in 20 minutes.

I think it’s the lighting and these currently may have a bit more nitrogen in them.......rest assured, all the pic’s are within a day or so of each other. The current pic is also deceiving as there is a middle row that’s shorter and difficult to see the way I’m shooting the pic. But overall, I agree with what you are saying nutty, they do look a couple of days ahead for some reason.

Higher temps maybe? Looking awesome regardless man!

Temps are always maintained between 80-82 and never vary outside those numbers......... it could very well have been the order I removed (defoliated) the leaves. Last time I. Was mainly concerned with just sunleaves, and basically just removed those. This time I was a little more liberal and removed any and all leaves that were blocking things below. Either way, slight difference which won’t have an impact in the end I’m guessing.

I think I’m going in one more time tonight for the last deep defoliation......it appears pretty damn leafy still to me. I’ve removed a ton of leaves already, it’s just amazing.

One more pic from high above after removing 2 more handfulls of leaves………notice how the buds tend to “pop” more. Click on the pic! I’m finally happy with this side of the room. The other side still needs more removed, that’s an after dinner project. Remember, you want to see all the buds exposed to the light!

Famous to a bunch of potheads......... LOL LOL

Today is done 3 weeks in flowering.......things will start to progress quickly now in budding. I did remove more leafage on the other side of the room but still ned to hit it one more time as the thinning process continues.

Sunday will be a month flowering, I’m trying not to take any pics til then so the difference in room appearance will really stand out.

im still at 720 ppm for two waterings, then 320pp (just cal/mag) on the third watering. Since I’m watering just about everyday now, it’s important not to over fertilize. The dehumidifier’s set at 60%, and it’s removing about 2.5-3 gallons of moisture every day. It dries the plants out pretty well most days. PH to 6.3 always………

I've seen a few plants lighten up a bit, that tells me the lights are too low and I’ve continue to raise them a few inches here and there as necessary. Up and down, up and down…….there’s no need to overly push them right now, just keep them as healthy as possible.

Lastly, there has been a little more fluctuation in room temps, as nights are dropping into the low 40’s, and days are in and out of the low 70’s………so I need to spend a little more time monitoring to keep everything ideal.

Handy you posting this comment as have the same issue on one side of my current grow. The plants under the 600w look great, the other half under the 1000w look a lot lighter in colour, unfortunately I can't get the lights any higher so may have to turn them down a bit, may settle for 700w

With HPS, I used to buy metal devices that hooked to the bottom of the fixture to dispurse the light and heat better. Not sure they even make them anymore, it was a long time ago. They worked though........ I'll try to find some info on them.
