Orange Gasm Part 1 can be found over at the farm, it currently has over 46,000 views and it's been locked for over a month. It was my first venture into LED's, after 30+ years of HPS growing. I spent $2800 on the 2 gavita's, more on a whim to reduce summer heat in the grow room. Little did I know I'd actually be running the room warmer, not cooler.

It turned out to be a perfect grow. Not one issue from start to finish, and I got some mighty fine orange/tangerine weed- about 6 lbs. 10 oz. in a 4 X 8 sq. ft area. (2.3 GPW with no co2). Round 2 coming in August.............

How about a pic, a 4 X 4 sq. ft area.IMG_0198..jpg

Just do a google search for “sshz and Orange Gasm”............
I had a leisurely rainy Sunday morning at home...so I slogged thru that 68 page grow journal over at Farmer and my conclusion is that ...his numbers are probably pretty close...he admits he does not trim his buds as close as some do...but that would be pretty nominal ...IMO...24 plants in an 8x4 area or so...needing to average 4oz's per plant to hit his mark.....with a good yielding strain its possible....he has some pretty decent pics of them growing and hanging....and comes across as pretty decent fellow...I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt and say....job well done my friend.

Well, you read the read..........the next grow, which is also posted there- was 103+ oz of Sweet Zombie. I think by the end of the 2nd one, most if not all were believers. But, believe or not- your choice. I don't concern myself with that back and forth anymore.

And to be honest, 2.3 GPW is quite reasonable with an experienced grower with a heavy yielding strain. There are numerous others at 2.5+ GPW, if they are to be believed.

Yup........... here and only here. I'm a few weeks into my current grow of Ethos "End Game" and when that is finished, I'll start up the Gasm thread to compete against the first grow of it over at the Farm. I am currently mulling over the changes I'll be making, to try and beat the 106 oz I ended up previously. UV-B will be added, which I feeling comfortable with now, and adding Green Planet's "Massive" in flowering. I'll also add back in the two XL Exhale Bags (co2 addition), as I feel that contributed in a minor way to the 2.3 GPW final number.

More to follow as we get closer.

I totally defoliated the room today, removing about 1/2 a green trash bag full of leaves. I've grown these before, I know exactly how to handle them and what to do or not.........I'll give the plants a few days to recover before taking a another pic- I don't want to startle anyone. LOL So day 29 in veg, I'll flip them come Thursday if they sufficiently recover.
