Companies like that don't care about losing their "best" worker. It's all about the lower insurance premiums they get for having a "drug free" workplace.
Crock of shit.
A company I used to work for started doing randoms soon after I left as well. Fuck there wasn't anything random about it. They knew who smoked dope and who didn't. Well they ended up losing close to half of their experienced operators their production and quality went in the tank w/ it.
It is perfectly ok to rehire some of those "druggies" at a much lower wage to do the same job though. Hmmmmm
Now the guys just carry a bottle of the urine luck w/em
Hell one guy passed the first test cuz of the urine luck. They knew he had to be dirty tho. and dropped him again the next week.
guess what he didn't have the urine luck that time. Out he went. They also hired him back a month later for a three dollar pay cut.

There was a big turnover at the place I used to work at too, after they started the drug testing. This happened over 5 years ago, and all 22 of us were warned in time. 3 quit smoking and are still working there. All the rest either quit or were fired when they failed their test and refused 'treatment'. The quality of their product has fallen drastically. They may be paying less on insurance, but that's offset by the lower sales. Hope they're happy.
ah well at least now I don't have to hide it anymore 
Well that's the problem. When they present and you look at them it's pretty obvious why. As for taking a picture and hanging it on the fridge, tell me just how big is your fridge? Because if we took a snapshot of every idiot that came through the OR and ER they'd stack to the moon after probably a couple months. There's just so much idiocy out there it no longer even surprises you and rarely entertains you unless it's something REALLY unique LOL

Ok the naked arrest story. But that's it for tonight kiddies! AND you promise you'll go straight to sleep!
So I was around 13/14 and I was sneaking out with the two neighbor boys 18/19 to go night surfing. So I have to sneak my board out and all and borrow one of their wetsuits because my family might wonder where the wet swimsuit and wetsuit came from, right?
So it's about 2 AM and we'd finished surfing. The guys were in the front changing out of their wetsuit and I was in the back changing out of mine (remember no swimsuit under wetsuit), and what do you think pulls up. A police cruiser. Hit us with their lights. The boys were let go! I was put in the back of the police cruiser (no cuffs so buck naked). They tossed a ratty blanket over me and took me to the station. They then called the 'rents. They told them they'd picked me up for prostitution! Oh MY!
My dad hammered the window shut with like railroad spikes! It took awhile to live that one down. However I became quit popular with the guys in HS after that one ;x
