Spanky's 250W HPS Handmade Cab Grow

Anybody grow the Kannbia Thai Fantasy Auto, yet? It's a freebie I got from Bonza. Just started germing her for shits and giggles. I'm not into Autos at all but I'd hate to let a good seed go to waste. Hope this bean likes 12/12 cause that's all she gets. The veg box is on 18/6 but it's got my baby skunks going.
 
Update: On my Grow 2 Smoke (Lisa) this shit is the real deal. One hit and you'd best put that shit down. I'm blown away at how good this harvest really is. I realize the amnesia comes from smoking too much too quick. The flavor is that of fresh grown pot. A hint of earth but very clean and smooth. In the jar she smells like spiced lemon...if there was such a thing, but does not taste like lemon at all. For my first successful harvest I got exactly what I was looking for. A quality smoke that drops me off with one hit and tastes like something better than ditch weed.

Given what we invested in the Flower Box all said, we got more then our money's worth from the first harvest. Our 25g woulda cost $400 around these parts for the quality we just got.
 
My Linksys Router Germ Method is freaking king. That Thai Fantasy sprouted a 1/4" tail in less than 12 hours. She is "buried" in the dirt now in the Flower Box. I'm really excited she sprouted so quicky.
 
Grow 3
The ladies are looking good and starting to fill out @ 21 days in flower. They stopped reaching for the HPS around the 14th. We've been running the 250w full bore after some heating issues in the laundry room. The canopy in the box is 78* and the laundry room is 72* with the heater running and our gas dryer moved to the outside wall were the vent is of course. We just brought this place and we're figuring out what really does not work.

Grow 4
The GHS Lemon Skunks are trucking along and got a proper watering today in perparation for transplant. The roots are furry and bright white, and I'm really stoked about thier health. After much deliberation they will be topped for 4 tops with LST to control that good ol' skunk stretch. Should help me control them better in the bloom room with the Thai Fantasy which is Grow 5 and this is just getting a little rediculous.
 
sounds like you are busy as shit....saw your 12/12 contribution over on that thread, Nice! Just put 2 into pots last night to start 12/12 right away, thanks for the inspiration, Spank!

I'm here to learn and grow. Been real happy with the development on the 12/12 FS. Really wondering just how much they will yield.

I really do appreciate the love. I have been inspired by many a grower here.
 
Grow 3
Forgot to report that I picked up some of that TNT mater booster to help with my flowering. We also added a 4" USB personal fan to complement our 6" clip on fan.

Grow 4
We finally got our 4" USB personal fan to put in with the Lemon Skunk. These fans were $7 each through menard on-line shipped to store.

Auto Thai Fantasy
Lady Thai is offically a seedling. She's sprouting her first set of leaves. I wonder how she's gonna take to 12/12 with the HPS. I'm seeing some serious stretching in her future.
 
I'm thinking the short plant in Grow 3 is a Chem pheno. She smells like a really deep fragrant skunk when your fooling with her. Now if you rub your fingers on the main stem your digits comeback reeking of straight hardcore chemical. I mean it's a seriously industrial sort of smell, almost offense.

I'm loving how all three bagseed plants so far have thier own aromas.

I've noticed that about the bagseed I am growing! You can identify it by smell now that its in flower. You can also tell the difference in them by how they're growing. 2 are definitely Indicas and the other 2 want to grow more like sativa. At least as far as I can tell, but I'm a newb....lol

Is that "diamond mylar"?
Where I am I don't think we have emergency blankets or a whole lot of material to choose from. Only mylar foil which is paper thin, easily damaged and no way you can stick it to a wall without huge wrinkles and hot spots.
 
No, its Reflectix from Menards and the sell it at Lowes as well. It's like a thick ass bubble wrap coated in foil. Great for insulating the box.
 
I doubt I'll ever find anything like it here. :(

BTW, I saw someone talking about chem dawg(?) and a rough chemical smell... and I think it was in this thread, but I can't find it anymore. Was it here? I'm sleepy... :D
 
No not gas or diesel. I am very familiar with petrol smells. This smells like a mix of harsh scented products. It's chemical and not petrol at all.
 
Ye I think I know now. Can you tell it's cannabis by the smell?

If not I imagine having some with me all the time and everyone would be like "what a good smelling and clean gentleman" or more like "sir we need a clean up near the bar" lol

Thanks Cool, I really wanted to try growing unadulterated at least once My first 2 grow were LST'd early on and I didn't get to see the natural shape they take. Well, that's enough for me. I know for a fact I hurt my yield with all those little popcorn buds. I figure between these 2 bagseeds we should have enough smoke to last us 3 months and then there's the Auto Thai that's should be good for 60 days give or take right?

Grow 4
GHS Lemon Skunks got transplanted into their big girl pots today. Will veg for another week or so and then we will begin taking clones.

New Project - Fresh Herb/Clone 18" Light Stand
Gonna make a light stand with my 4 - 24" T8 bulbs and use this as a little herb grow and clone spot. I figure an 18" light height should be good for most herbs and perfect for a clone tray.
