Spanky's 250W HPS Handmade Cab Grow

Same Here, it was enough to put me off from buying any, but I'm glad someone is having good results with them.
I Love Lemony / citrus/ orange strains. Wish I still had pics of my Cali Orange I ran several years ago. Tasty and Potent _~

Seriously thinking of main-lining for 4 tops. These lemon skunks are not heavy yielders and I thinking main-lining would be the best option. No popcorn, juts straight up colas producing flowers. Yeah, I'm gonna go that route. indicat that's one reason I went with the strain, I love all things citrus. I love the skunk stink on top off that and the high as well. I figured for the price and a high that's righ up my alley it's worth my time even If it may not yield the best. As for the bad rep. I hate the fuck outta McDonalds cause the fuck my order more often then not but I still shop there because for the most part its worth the time and money. Everybody makes mistakes and we're dealing with "life" here after all not something like man made computer programs that will never deviate from plan. These seeds and plants will live and die as life sees fit.

Holy hell, tried a little bud off Lisa tonight and I'm freaking blasted off the bong. She don't smell and if you do get a scent it's a lemony pine scent, perfect stealth grow plant. Anyway I'm loving the high and I'm gonna start harvesting the tops this weekend and let the lower buds fill out and maybe mature to a couch-lock high. To bad I didn't get a clone of this one it's seriously a keeper. Long live the bagseed.

So here are the ladies I kept talking about. They both have started to flower and are 30 days old from seed. The sativa dom is Yolie and the indica dom is Amy. Pretty cool that I got one of each to gow 12/12 from seed outta my bagseed mids.




If Lisa's smoke is any indication I got some damned good seeds saved up.

Both ladies got flushed today after they fell asleep. Holy shit this MG soil is hot as fuck. Run off was super acidic and I believe that has a lot to due with the peat moss I cut the soil with. Anyway my plan from here out is to run through the rest of this bag of MG and recycle the soil as I go. Once it's all used up I'm gonna look into some of these fert options like fox farms that RIU has fallen in love with.

Lisa got harvested last night. Sorry no pics. Wet weight came out to about 103g scaled in 1g increments. I made a few serious mistakes and she hermied in the last 3 weeks so I'm expecting a pretty shitty yield. The effected buds were located on the lowest nugs of the main cola. This is my first grow so I'm really thrilled none the less. I've already started correcting those mistakes that lead to my late hermie.

Grow 3 is running strong and the ladies are flowering well with no signs of serious stress. I am concerned that they may drop seeds from Grow 2 but to be honest the pistils look to be in order with what looks like a seed pod or two on the sativa. I figure the real damage was done and dealt with before Grow 3 started producing actual flowers. Fingers crossed for the future.

Awesome thread! So was the bud you got off Lisa way better than the seedy bag weed? I ask because I'm growing bag seed from some decent stuff and I am hoping since mine won't get pollinated, that they will be way more potent. This is my first grow so I have no idea. I keep doing weird shit and my plants are still alive somehow though!

Oh, hell yeah it's still way better then typical bagseed. Mind you we started out with some good mids so my guess is this was a great strain that got seeded and was sold off as mids because of the seedy nature.

The high is very nice. It creeps on you and then you're hit with this wonderful uplifting high with a mild amnesia effect. I am extremely satisfied although I don't recall this particular weed. I know it's weed I smoked before but it's not a high I can remember.

That is encouraging^^^ That is what I am hoping for from the bagseed I am currently growing. It was good in seedy form, I am hoping it will be better unpollinated and properly cured!

So I've been really happy with the performance of the HPS on these 12/12 from bagseed.

Grow #3
The sativa dom stands at 23" and the indica dom is 14" and they are both still in the final stretch at 17 days in flower. The calyx's on both girls are huge compared to the calyx size on Grow 2 which started flower under 138w worth of CFL. I'm hooked on the HPS and I'll never look back.

Grow #4
The GHS Lemon Skunks are still in the seedling stage so nothing to take pics of or write home about. They are green but that's about it......lol. I am seeing indica dom in the leaves on both but I take that with a grain of salt. It would be primo to get the indica dom Lemon Skunk but what's the odds of both girls being indica, really. Still on the fence about how long they will veg. This strain is known to triple in size. So I've come down to either Hardcore LST or top once and LST either way these bitches need to be strapped down. Oh, yeah they are vegging under 69w of CFL.
